नैनीताल (संवाददाता)। हाईकोर्ट ने छात्रवृत्ति घोटाले में लिप्त मोनाड यूनिवर्सिटी हापुड़ के प्रबंधक समेत तीन अन्य आरोपियों की सशर्त जमानत को मंजूरी दी है। न्यायालय ने आरोपियों को जमानत इस आधार पर दी थी कि वह पहले छात्रवृत्ति घोटाले से संबंधित 20 लाख 63 हजार 9 सौ रुपये की धनराशि का बैंक ड्राफ्ट समाज कल्याण विभाग नैनीताल के नाम पर जमा कराएं । शुक्रवार को आरोपियों के अधिवक्ता ने इस धनराशि का बैंक ड्राफ्ट न्यायालय में पेश किया। इसके बाद एकलपीठ ने कहा है कि संबंधित धनराशि का बैंक ड्राफ्ट विभाग में जमा करने केबाद चारों आरोपियों की जमानत पर रिहा कर दिया जाए। मामले की सुनवाई न्यायमूर्ति आरसी खुल्बे की एकलपीठ में हुई। मामले के अनुसार 26 सितम्बर 2019 को भीमताल थाने में मोनाड़ यूनिवर्सिटी हापुड़ के प्रंबधक व तीन अन्य लोगों के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया। इसकी जांच में पाया गया कि इनके द्वारा यूनिवर्सिटी में छात्रों को एडमिशन देने के नाम पर 28 स्थानीय छात्रों के प्रमाण पत्र लेकर उनके नाम पर छात्रवृत्ति के लिए आवेदन किया। इसमें प्रबंधक सहित तीन अन्य लोंगों ने कुल 20 लाख 63 हजार 9 सौ रुपये का घोटाला किया था। इस संबंध में जांच करने पर उक्त आरोपियों के ही छात्रवृत्ति घोटाला करने के प्रमाण मिले। कोर्ट ने मामले को सुनने पर पिछली तिथि को आरोपियों से पूरा पैसा बैंक ड्राफ्ट से समाज कल्याण विभाग में जमा करने को कहा था। आज आरोपियों के अधिवक्ता की ओर से गबन का 20 लाख 63 हजार 9 सौ रुपये का समाज कल्याण विभाग के नाम पर बना बैंक ड्राफ्ट न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत किया। कोर्ट ने इस आधार पर चारों आरोपियों की जमानत मंजूर कर ली।
