दुर्ग । छत्तीसगढ़ के दुर्ग जिले की अदालत ने एक निजी स्कूल में तीन बच्चियों से बलात्कार के जुर्म में 33 वर्षीय सफाई कर्मी को आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई है। अदालत ने मामले में स्कूल के प्रधान अध्यापक डेनियल वर्गीस, एक अन्य कर्मचारी साजन थॉमस और दो महिला शिक्षकों प्रतिभा होल्कर और सुंदरी नायक को भी यौन शोषण की घटनाओं में त्वरित कार्रवाई करने में विफल रहने के लिए दोषी ठहराया है। दुर्ग जिले के शासकीय अधिवक्ता बालमुकुंद चंद्राकर ने मंगलवार को बताया कि सोमवार को अतिरिक्त सत्र न्यायाधीश डॉक्टर ममता भोजवानी की अदालत ने चार से पांच वर्ष की बच्चियों का यौन शोषण के मामले में मुख्य आरोपी एस सुनील और चार अन्य को दोषी ठहराया। चंद्राकर ने बताया कि अदालत ने सुनील को बच्चियों से बलात्कार के मामले में भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 376 के तहत आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई है। अधिवक्ता ने बताया कि 25 फरवरी 2016 को एक बच्ची के पिता ने जिले के भिलाई नगर थाने में मामला दर्ज कराया था कि शहर के सेक्टर-छह स्थित एक स्कूल में सफाई कर्मचारी सुनील ने उसकी बेटी का यौन शोषण किया था। घटना के दौरान बच्ची स्कूल में नर्सरी की छात्रा थी। उन्होंने बताया कि शिकायत के दौरान बालिका के पिता ने वर्गीस, नर्सरी सेक्शन प्रभारी होल्कर और थॉमस के खिलाफ भी मामला दर्ज कराया था। बच्ची के पिता ने आरोप लगाया था कि जब वह शिकायत लेकर स्कूल पहुंचे तब उन्होंने कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की थी। चंद्राकर ने बताया कि इसके बाद दो अन्य बच्चियों के परिजनों ने भी स्कूल में अपनी बच्चियों के साथ यौन उत्पीड़न का मामला दर्ज कराया था। दोनों बच्चियों के परिजनों ने भी होल्कर के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कराया था। चंद्राकर ने बताया कि अदालत ने तीनों मामलों में होल्कर को छह महीने कठोर कारावास और 10-10 हजार रूपए जुर्माना की सजा सुनाई है। वहीं नायक और थॉमस को उनसे संबंधित आरोप के मामले में छह महीने कठोर कारावास और 10 हजार रूपए जुर्माने की सजा सुनाई गई है। शासकीय अधिवक्ता ने बताया कि अदालत ने इस मामले में स्कूल के प्रधानाध्यापक वर्गीस को एक साल कठोर कारावास और 20 हजार रूपए जुर्माने की सजा सुनाई है। चंद्राकर ने बताया कि स्कूल के प्रधान अध्यापक और कर्मचारियों को भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 202 और लैंगिक अपराधों से बच्चों का संरक्षण (पॉक्सो) कानून की धाराओं के तहत दोषी ठहराया गया है।
