आगरा (संवाददाता)। उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव को आज समाजवादी पार्टी का राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष चुना गया है। ताजनगरी आगरा में आज पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन में अखिलेश यादव के नाम पर पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी ने मुहर लगा दी। समाजवादी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव तथा राज्यसभा सांसद प्रोफेसर रामगोपाल यादव ने आज पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन में अखिलेश यादव को पार्टी का अध्यक्ष चुने जाने का औपचारिक ऐलान किया। उनको इस राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन में पार्टी का अध्यक्ष चुना गया है। अध्यक्ष के रूप में अखिलेश यादव का कार्यकाल पांच वर्ष का होगा। अखिलेश यादव को दोबारा निर्विरोध समाजवादी पार्टी का अध्यक्ष चुना गया । ताजनगरी आगरा में चल रहे सपा के दसवें राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन के दौरान उन्हें पार्टी का अध्यक्ष चुना गया। वह लगातार दूसरी बार दल के अध्यक्ष चुने गए। निर्वाचन अधिकारी एवं सपा के वरिष्ठ नेता रामगोपाल यादव ने अखिलेश के निर्विरोध निर्वाचन की औपचारिक घोषणा की। इस घोषणा के दौरान सपा संस्थापक मुलायम सिंह यादव और उनके छोटे भाई शिवपाल यादव मौजूद नहीं थे। इससे पहले 1 जनवरी, 2017 को लखनऊ में हुए राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन में अखिलेश को मुलायम सिंह यादव के स्थान पर सपा का अध्यक्ष बनाया गया था। अखिलेश का कार्यकाल पांच वर्ष का होगा। उनके दोबारा अध्यक्ष बनने के साथ ही यह तय हो गया है कि वर्ष 2019 का लोकसभा चुनाव और 2022 का उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव उन्हीं के नेतृत्व में लड़ा जाएगा। गौरतलब है कि सपा के 10वें राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन से पहले आज पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी की बैठक हुई जिसमें अध्यक्ष के कार्यकाल की अवधि मौजूदा तीन वर्ष से बढ़ाकर पांच साल कर दिया गया। अखिलेश यादव को पांच वर्ष के लिए पार्टी का अध्यक्ष बनाने के लिए पार्टी के संविधान में भी संशोधन किया गया। पहले पार्टी के अध्यक्ष का कार्यकाल तीन वर्ष का होता था। इससे पहले मुलायम सिंह यादव पार्टी के अध्यक्ष थे। समाजवादी पार्टी की रार के बीच में इसी वर्ष जनवरी में लखनऊ में आपातकालीन अधिवेशन बुलाकर अखिलेश यादव को पार्टी का नया अध्यक्ष चुना गया था, जबकि मुलायम सिंह यादव की गैरमौजूदगी में उनको समाजवादी पार्टी का संरक्षक बनाया गया था।
