देहरादून (सू0वि0)। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज तहसील जैंती के धामदेव में सालम क्रांति दिवस के अवसर पर शहीद स्मारक पर पुष्प चक्र अर्पित कर शहीद नर सिंह एवं टीका सिंह को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। इस क्षेत्र के स्वतंत्रता सेनानी नर सिंह और टीका सिंह ने अग्रेजों से लड़ते हुए 25 अगस्त 1942 को इस स्थान पर बलिदान दिया था। उनकी बरसी पर हर साल धामदेव में यह दिवस मनाया जाता है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि नर सिंह और टीका सिंह के जीवन से आज युवाओं को प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि शहीदों का सम्मान स्वयं का भी सम्मान है। उन्होंने कहा कि देश ने पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में देश के वीर सपूतों को याद करते हुए आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव मनाया है, जिसके तहत आजादी के ऐसे अनगिनत अमर शहीदों को याद किया गया। उन्होंने हर घर झंडा अभियान में भागीदारी के लिए जनता जनार्दन का आभार व्यक्त किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आज देश प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के नेतृत्व में विश्व में अपना परचम लहरा रहा है। कहा कि भारत की परिस्थितियां पहले की अपेक्षा काफी बदल गई हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि देश की सेना अब दुश्मनों की गोली का जवाब गोलों से देती है, इसके लिए सेना को निर्णय लेने की छूट दी गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि मानस कॉरिडोर के तहत कुमाऊं के सभी प्रमुख मंदिरों का कायाकल्प किया जाएगा, उनका सौंदर्यीकरण किया जाएगा। कहा कि समान नागरिक संहिता की दिशा में प्रदेश आगे बढ़ रहा है। इसके लिए गठित समिति की कई अहम बैठकें भी कर ली गई हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी सरकार प्रदेश के विकास को समर्पित है। उन्होंने कहा कि जागेश्वर धाम का विकास भी मास्टर प्लान के तहत प्राथमिकता से किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा की पिछली बार उनके द्वारा सालम के लिए की गई पचास लाख की घोषणा का टेंडर भी हो गया है। जल्द ही इस पर कार्य शुरू हो जाएगा। उन्होंने आगामी पांच वर्षों में राज्य की जीडीपी को दुगना करने की बात कही, इसके लिए सरकार लगातार इस दिशा में प्रयासरत है। सालम क्रांति पर एक डॉक्यूमेंट्री बनाने की भी बात कही, जिससे आने वाली पीढ़ी सालम का इतिहास जान सके। उन्होंने कहा कि चारधाम यात्रा में तीस लाख से अधिक श्रद्धालुओं का आना एक रिकॉर्ड है।
