देहरादून (सू0वि0)। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को जौलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट से देहरादून अल्मोड़ा पिथौरागढ़ हैली सेवा का फ्लैग ऑफ किया।
यह हैली सेवा देहरादून से हल्द्वानी, पंतनगर, अल्मोड़ा, पिथौरागढ़ तक चलेगी। 7 सीटर पवन हंस की यह सेवा अभी सप्ताह में एक दिन चलेगी। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इस हैली सेवा को शुरू करवाने के लिए केंद्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य एम सिंधिया का आभार व्यक्त किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उड़ान योजना के तहत राज्य में जो हैली सेवाएं चल रही हैं, ये उत्तराखंड में एयर कनेक्टिविटी को बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभायेगी। इन सेवाओं से लोगों को आवागमन की सुविधा आसान होगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड धार्मिक एवं पर्यटन की दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण राज्य है। राज्य सरकार का प्रयास है कि श्रद्धालुओं एवं पर्यटकों को राज्य में आवागमन के लिए हर प्रकार की सुविधा मिले। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा की राज्य में एयर कनेक्टिविटी को और विस्तार दिया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने पवन हंस को इस सेवा को सप्ताह में तीन दिन करने एवं सीटों की संख्या बढ़ाने को कहा। इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल, सुबोध उनियाल, सचिव दिलीप जावलकर, मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी यूकाडा सी रविशंकर, पवन हंस के महाप्रबंधक संजय कुमार उपस्थित थे।
