Bond’s heart reflects mountains and mountain-life
Rising pridely and fairly high
from the northern fringes of the valley of Doon
mighty mountains nestle the town called Mussoorie
overlooking down the foothills rampantly expanding city of Dehradun
with ever declining flora and fauna these Himalayan mountains lovingly own
a breathing and towering mountain in very human form.
Committed , devoted and god-gifted conservator of biodiversity
though, he does not know himself of his lavishly rich generosity
his verse and prose both eternally presevre the glory pristine
wide ranging glorious innate expressions of varied eco-systems
Himalayan creatures with two free wings and four wild legs
grasses, flowers, brooks, springs and waterfalls
ravines, reverine, rivers and hidden as well as exposed raw enchanting ponds
silvery small fish dodging , basking and gliding swiftly
natural small ponds in monsoon flooding, spreading and disappearing.
Not merely Dehradun, Mussoorie and around
the towering man’s literary-treasure abounds
much of Himalyan dodgy-life and peasantry details
flowers in bloom, ghosts and witches in recreating tunes
with humans expanding fast and nature’s diminishing past
flora and fauna treading to the verge of extinction
this titanic man’s treasure will come live to re-portray
“Dodo” fated creatures, flora and profound natural sights to progeny’s utter-dismay.
