नई टिहरी ,20 सितंबर (आरएनएस)। नागरिक मंच पदाधिकारियों ने टिहरी बांध प्रभावित एवं विस्थापितों से जल संस्थान द्वारा वसूले जा रहे पेयजल शुल्क का विरोध किया है। उन्होंने डीएम से पेयजल बिलों की वसूली रोके जाने की मांग की है। मांग पूरी नहीं होने पर आंदोलन की चेतावनी दी है। गुरुवार को नागरिक मंच नई टिहरी के सदस्यों ने डीएम सोनिका को ज्ञापन सौंपकर जल संस्थान द्वारा की जा रही पेयजल वसूली अभियान को तत्काल रोकने की मांग की है। मंच अध्यक्ष सुंदरलाल उनियाल ने कहा कि टिहरी विधायक धन सिंह नेगी ने बांध प्रभावित और विस्थापितों के हितों में हनुमंत राव कमेठी की संस्तुतियों को मंत्री मंडलीय उप समिति में रखने का पेयजल मंत्री से अनुरोध किया था। जिस पर पेयजल मंत्री ने बीती 19 जुलाई को बांध प्रभावित एवं विस्थापितों से किसी भी प्रकार शुल्क न वसूले जाने का आश्वासन दिया था। इसके बावजूद जल संस्थान बांध प्रभावित और विस्थापितों से पेयजल देयकों की वसूली करने के साथ नोटिस जारी दे रहा है। उन्होंने डीएम से जल संस्थान की ओर से की जा रही पेयजल वसूली कार्यवाही का विरोध करते हुए वसूली पर तत्काल रोक लगाने की मांग की है। मांग पूरी नहीं होने पर आंदोलन की चेतावनी दी है। ज्ञापन देने वालों में मंच मंत्री चंडी प्रसाद डबराल, भरत सिंह भंडारी, कमल सिंह महर, करम सिंह तोपवाल, किशोरीलाल चमोली, नरोत्तम दत्त जखमोला, गुरुप्रसाद भट्ट आदि मौजूद थे।.
