रुद्रप्रयाग। शुक्रवार देर रात्रि ग्राम पंचायत पीड़ा धनपुर के खैरपाणी तोक में रात्रि साढ़े दस बजे सभी लोग सो चुके थे। इस दौरान अचानक पत्थरों की तेज आवाजे आई। ग्रामीणों ने बाहर आके देखा दो आवासीय भवन और दो गौशालाओं मलबे में दब गई थी। पहाड़ी से अचानक आया जलजला सबकुछ अपने साथ बहा के ले गया। गौशाला के अंदर बंधी प्रभावित मोहन सिंह पुत्र बुद्धि सिंह की दो भैंस, एक बछड़ा और एक बैल भी मलबे में जिंदा दफन हो गये। अचानक बादल फटने से चारों ओर अफरा-तफरी मच गई। आस-पास के लोग एकत्रित हुये और सुरक्षित स्थानों की ओर भागे। बादल फटने की घटना के बाद अब अन्य परिवारों पर भी खतरा मंडराने लगा है। कई आवासीय भवन खतरे की जद में आ गये हैं। प्रभावित परिवार जैसे-तैसे रह रहे हैं। लोगों के आवासीय भवनों के भीतर से पानी की धारा फूट रही हैं। रात के समय अचानक गौशाला और आवासीय भवन के पीछे से बादल फटने से मलबे और बोल्डरों ने गौशाला को ही अपनी चपेट में लिया। जो आवासीय भवन आपदा की चपेट में आये, उनमें रात्रि के समय कोई नहीं था। अन्यथा एक जनहानि भी हो सकती थी। बादल फटने के कारण दयाल सिंह पुत्र फते सिंह का चार कमरों वाला मकान पूर्णत: ध्वस्त हो गया। जबकि मोहन सिंह की गौशाला और उसमें बंदी दो भैंस, एक बैल, और एक बच्छड़ा मलबे में जिंदा दफन हो गये। पुष्कर सिंह रमेश सिंह के आवासीय भवन को आंशिक क्षति पहुंची है। प्रभावित मोहन सिंह ने कहा कि गौशाला के साथ ही गौशाला में बंधे मवेशियों के मलबे में जिंदा दफन होने से उनके सम्मुख आजीविका का संकट गहरा गया है। वह किसी तरह दूध बेचकर अपना गुजारा करते थे, लेकिन आपदा उनका सबकुछ बहा कर ले गई। वहीं दयाल सिंह, पुष्कर सिंह और रमेश सिंह ने कहा कि आवासीय भवनों के आपदा की चपेट में आने से जीवन यापन का संकट पैदा हो गया है। बारिश होते ही वह किसी तरह से रात्रि काट रहे हैं। कभी भी कोई बड़ा हादसा हो सकता है। उन्होंने प्रशासन से सुरक्षित स्थानों पर विस्थापन करने की मांग की है। पीड़ा गांव में बादल फटने की घटना के बाद से ही बिजली आपूर्ति भी ठप पड़ी है। बिजली पोलों के क्षतिग्रस्त होने से ग्रामीणों के सामने दिक्कतें बढ़ गई हैं। अब ग्रामीणों को रात अंधेरे में ही काटनी पड़ेगी। सूचना मिलने पर राजस्व उप निरीक्षक मनोज असवाल घटना स्थल पर पहुंचे और मौका-मुआयना करके प्रभावित को उचित मुआवजा देने का आश्वासन दिया। बाद में उप जिलाधिकारी मुक्ता मिश्र भी गांव में पहुंची। उपजिलाधकारी ने कहा कि प्रभावित शीघ्र ही अहेतुक राशि दी जायेगी। खतरे की जद में आये परिवारों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर रहने की सलाह दी गई है।
