देहरादून (सू0वि0)। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से शनिवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में केंद्रीय रेल एवं टेक्सटाइल राज्य मंत्री श्रीमती दर्शना जरदोश ने भेंट की। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री से राज्य में रेल परियोजनाओं के विकास संचालन एवं आवश्यक अवस्थापना सुविधाओं के संबंध में विचार विमर्श किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने केंद्रीय मंत्री से राज्य हित में टनकपुर-बागेश्वर ब्रॉड गेज लाइन के सर्वे में तेजी लाने, लालकुआं-सितारगंज-सिडकुल-खटीमा, धामपुर-काशीपुर-जसपुर रेल लाइन निर्माण, रुड़की-देवबंद रेल लाइन निर्माण में तेजी लाए जाने के अनुरोध के साथ ही टनकपुर से दिल्ली के लिए नियमित ट्रेन, हरिद्वार, हल्द्वानी तथा टनकपुर से अयोध्या के लिए सीजनल ट्रेन के संचालन का अनुरोध किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड देव भूमि के साथ-साथ वीरभूमि भी है, बड़ी संख्या में यहां के लोग सेना में है। अतः सैनिक हित को देखते हुए एक सैनिक स्पेशल ट्रेन का संचालन का भी अनुरोध उन्होंने किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने केंद्रीय मंत्री से देहरादून, हर्रावाला, हरिद्वार रेलवे स्टेशनों के विस्तारीकरण की भी अपेक्षा की। उन्होंने सिडकुल हरिद्वार इकबालपुर को कंटेनर रेल लिंक से जोड़ने तथा फ्राइट कैरीडोर के निर्माण के संबंध में चर्चा की। मुख्यमंत्री ने केन्द्रीय मंत्री से राष्ट्रीय महत्व के ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल निर्माण में तेजी लाये जाने के साथ ही चार धाम रेल परियोजना के कार्यों को भी गति प्रदान करने का अनुरोध किया।
केन्द्रीय रेल एवं टेक्सटाइल राज्य मंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में तीर्थाटन के साथ पर्यटन की अपार संभावनायें हैं। राज्य के हित से जुड़ी रेल परियोजनाओं के निर्माण एवं विकास मे पूर्ण सहयोग का आश्वासन उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री को दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में भी वन्दे भारत ट्रेन का संचालन किया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड का देवभूमि के रूप में अपना महत्व है। राज्य की जरूरतों के दृष्टिगत प्राथमिकता के आधार पर योजनाओं के शीघ्र क्रियान्वय की भी उन्होंने बात कही। राज्य में टेक्सटाइल पार्क के विकास के साथ ही उन्होंने राज्य के हस्तशिल्प एवं हेण्डलूम को बढ़ावा देने के लिये भी सहयोग का आश्वासन मुख्यमंत्री को दिया है।
इस अवसर पर अपर मुख्य सचिव श्री आनन्द वर्द्धन, प्रमुख सचिव श्री आर.के.सुधांशु, सचिव डॉ. रणजीत सिन्हा, जीएम नादर्न रेलवे श्री आशुतोष गंगल, डीजीएम मुरादाबाद श्री अजय नन्दन, निदेशक रेलवे जन शिकायत सुश्री सुहानी मिश्रा आदि उपस्थित थे।
