noble soul of Alfred Nobel shall feel cheated and loner
your steady zeal for promotion of civilization is beyond any doubtful matter
but your logical-vision certainly invites some chatter.
Alfred Nobel’s “ founding principles” speak of fraternity and peace
you say Martin Luther King Jr and Nelson Mandela promoted the same at ease
world knows these two were the honest-disciples of Mahatma Gandhi
though directly or indirectly but morally and emotionally so unequivocally
who gave the entire modern world the “mechanism” of non-violence and peaceful resistance
achieving humanitarian goals of the highest order for
thus, invariably promoting international peace and fraternity at large.
Instances are dozens oh! gentlemen
logics are concrete and many more oh! gentlemen
we honour you for your noble deeds
but somehow you dishonour Alfred Nobel indeed
you deliberately sidelined Mahatma Gandhi
who paved the way for dismantling barbaric emperialist forces
the highest and the noblest task of the century twenty
but you do worry about just christian-ideals
you do not worry about universal-ideals
which were practised and worked by Mahatma Gandhi
just read history putting aside your prejudices oh! committee of morals.
Please never mind it
Since times immemorial
we Hindus believe in universal-brotherhood
Mahatma Gandhi is far above your prizehood
but you can not be absolved of your due moralhood.
Americans are far better who thought of Mahatma Gandhi
choosing him for their highest civilian award
though, once again as a matter of fact
Mahatma Gandhi’s “highest ideal-world-vission” is fairly above any award or cost.
