काबुल। अफगानिस्तान में तालिबान ने शुक्रवार को सरकारी मीडिया सूचना केंद्र (GMIC) के प्रमुख की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। यह हाल के दिनों में तालिबान द्वारा किसी सरकारी अधिकारी की हत्या करने का सबसे नया मामला है। यह घटना ऐसे समय हुई है जब कुछ ही दिन पहले देश के कार्यवाहक रक्षा मंत्री की हत्या का प्रयास किया गया था। तालिबान के प्रवक्ता जबीहुल्ला मुजाहिद ने बताया कि संगठन के लड़ाकों ने दावा खान मेनापाल को मार डाला है जो स्थानीय और विदेशी मीडिया के लिए सरकार का प्रेस अभियान संचालित करते थे। जबीहुल्ला मुजाहिद ने बाद में जारी एक बयान में कहा कि मेनापाल कोमुजाहिदीन के एक विशेष हमले में मारा गयाजी और उसे उसके कृत्यों के लिए दंडित किया गया।मुजाहिदने इस बार में और अधिक जानकारी नहीं दी। बता दें कि तालिबान द्वारा सरकारी अधिकारियों की हत्या असामान्य नहीं है। नागरिकों के खिलाफ हाल में किए गए कई हमलों की जिम्मेदारी इस्लामिक स्टेट द्वारा ली गई है, हालांकि सरकार अक्सर तालिबान को जिम्मेदार ठहराती है। तालिबान और अफगानिस्तान के सरकारी बलों के बीच युद्ध पिछले कुछ महीनों में तेज हो गया है क्योंकि अमेरिकी और नाटो सैनिकों ने युद्धग्रस्त देश से अपनी वापसी पूरी कर ली है। छोटे प्रशासनिक जिलों को अपने नियंत्रण में लेने के बाद तालिबान अब प्रांतीय राजधानियों को नियंत्रण में करने की कोशिश कर रहा है। गृह मंत्रालय के उपप्रवक्ता सैद हामिद रुशान ने कहा कि मेनापाल की हत्या साप्ताहिक जुमे की नमाज के वक्त हुई। यह स्पष्ट नहीं है कि गोलीबारी के समय मेनपाल कहां थे। मंगलवार देर रात, अफगानिस्तान के कार्यवाहक रक्षा मंत्री बिस्मिल्लाह खान को निशाना बनाकर तालिबान द्वारा काबुल के एक भारी सुरक्षा वाले इलाके में किए गए बम हमले कम से कम 8 लोग मारे गए और 20 अन्य घायल हो गए। इसमें मंत्री को कोई नुकसान नहीं हुआ।
