Lord Christ
The pious soul
The greatest hermit by heart
whoever took birth outside the Bharat
our reverence to you is everlasting and immense.
You oh!
The greatest soul of christdom
Taught the path of tolerance and sacrifice for the sake of good
After the existence of Lord Mahavir and lord Buddha
Who took birth not much before you.
O my lord Jesus Christ
The God of the millions and millions
You always preached purity in life and peace
You are the symbol and eternal source of love and compassion
Keep us inspiring your supreme sacrifice for truth.
It brings us infinite pain your crucifixion
But it brings us solace in turn
Your access to Bharat’s traditional high moral values and humane concerns
Were praised visibly or invisibly by you
We remember you in the holy week
We remember you every moment indeed.
O holy soul
with your universal glorious role
Your divine compassion and forgiveness ought to be the goal
Of present day civilization as a whole.
