श्रीनगर गढ़वाल (संवाददाता)। कीर्तिनगर और श्रीनगर से सटे गांवों के जंगलों में आग लगने का सिलसिला जारी है। जंगलों में आग लगने से पर्यावरण में धुंध छायी हुई है, जिससे श्रीनगर शहर में गर्मी बढ़ गई है। गर्मी बढऩे से लोग खासे परेशान हैं। बुधवार को भी श्रीनगर और कीर्तिनगर के आसपास के जंगलों से आग का धुआं निकलता रहा। नगर पालिका क्षेत्र के श्रीकोट गंगानाली में आग बस्ती के समीप पहुंच गई। इस आग से श्रीकोट का काफी बड़ा क्षेत्र आग में खाक हो गया। पिछले दिन भी आग लगी थी, जो बारिश के कारण बूझ गई थी, किंतु शरारती तत्वों द्वारा दोबारा जंगलों में आग लगा दी। जिससे अकलनंदा घाटी की पहाडिय़ां इन दिनों आग ही आग देखने को मिल रही है। किंतु आग लगाने वाले वन विभाग की गिरफ्त में नहीं आ रहे है।
