उत्तरकाशी (संवाददाता)। जिले में बीते तीन दिनों से हो रही मूसलाधार बारिश से जिले के किसानों में मायूसी छाई है। गंगा व यमुना घाटी में इन दिनों धान की फसल पक कर तैयार है। लेकिन लगातार हो रही बेमौसमी बारिश ने धान की फसल को खेतों में ढहा कर रख दिया है। वहीं बारिश का पानी खेतों में भरने के कारण धान की फसल सडऩे लगी है। जिले की रवांई घाटी में स्थित कमल सिरांई व रामा सिरांई चरधान (लाल चावल) के लिए जाना जाता है। जो यहां के किसानों की आजीविका का मुख्य साधन भी है। लेकिन बीते शुक्रवार से हो रही बारिश ने किसानों की कमर तोड़ कर रख दी है। बारिश के कारण खेतों में खड़ी धान की फसल ढह गई है। वहीं बालियों से धान खेतों में झड़ गया है। जिन खेतों में धान की कटाई हो चुकी है वह मंडाई न होने से खेतों में ही सड़ रहा है। जिस से क्षेत्र के किसानों के सामने एक बड़ा संकट पैदा हो गया है। किसान संगठन के अध्यक्ष प्रकाश कुमार का कहना है कि किसानों के सामने आजीविका का संकट खड़ा होता जा रहा है। जिस पर सरकार को ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। खलाड़ी के उद्यमी किसान हुकुमत सिंह, बृजमोहन, सरदार सिंह रावत, मनमोहन सिंह आदि का कहना है कि सरकार हमेशा से क्षेत्र के किसानों की उपेक्षा करती है, देश में कई राज्यों के किसानों का कर्ज माफ किया गया है तो हमारे प्रदेश में क्यों किसानों की उपेक्षा हो रही है। पहले हमारे टमाटर और मटर की फसल भी ऐसे ही बर्बाद हुई हैं और अब 4 महीने की मेहनत से तैयार धान की फसल भी बर्बाद हो गयी है। वहीं दूसरी ओर गंगा घाटी के बाड़ा गड्डी, चिन्यालीसौड़, ब्रहम्खाल, धनारी, भटवाड़ी क्षेत्र में भी धान की फसल को खासा नुकसान पहुंचा है। वही सहायक कृषि अधिकारी पीताम्बर सैनी ने बताया कि अधिक बारिश से धान व राजमा की फसल को नुकसान पहुंचा है। किसानों को इन फसलों को बचाने के लिए खेतों के बाहर से गहरी नालियां बनानी चाहिए। ताकि खेतों में पानी न भर पाये।
