हरिद्वार (संवाददाता)। श्रीपंचदशनाम जूना अखाड़ा इस नवरात्र से एक बार फिर से चार धामों की छड़ी यात्रा शुरू करने जा रहा है। लगभग 1400 वर्षों पुरानी यह छड़ी यात्रा बागेश्वर मठ स्थित पौराणिक बाघनाथ मंदिर से प्रारंभ की जाती थी लेकिन पिछले कई दशकों से यह स्थगित थी। अब जूना अखाड़े ने इस परंपरा को पुन: प्रारम्भ किए जाने का निश्चय किया है। जिसके चलते बागेश्वर से यह पवित्र छड़ी शनिवार सुबह हरिद्वार स्थित मायादेवी मंदिर पहुंची। शनिवार को इस पवित्र छड़ी को पूर्व सभापति श्रीमहंत भागवतपुरी, सभापति श्रीमहंत प्रेमगिरि, पूर्व सभापति श्रीमहंत उमाशंकर भारती, सचिव श्रीमहंत महेश पुरी, कोठारी महंत लाल भारती, कारोबारी महंत महादेवा नंद गिरि, पुजारी महंत परमानंद गिरि, थाना पति देवेशपुरी, थानापति विवेक पुरी,थानापति धीरज गिरी और महंत गौरी शंकर पुरी के नेतृत्व में मायादेवी भैरव मन्दिर तथा मां गंगा की पूजा अर्चना के पश्चात मायादेवी प्रांगण में स्थित श्री दत्तात्रेय चरण पादुका में स्थापित कर दिया गया है। श्रीमहंत प्रेमगिरि ने बताया कि लगभग 1400 वर्ष पुरानी यह परंपरा श्रीमहंत गंगागिरि, श्रीमहंत कृष्णचंद गिरि द्वारा प्रारंभ की गयी थी। जिसको 40 वर्षों तक श्रीमहंत दीन दयाल गिरि चलाते रहे। लेकिन उनके अस्वस्थ होने के कारण यह स्थगित हो गयी थी। जिसे उनकी सहमति से हरिद्वार से पुन: प्रारंभ किया जा रहा है। इस पवित्र छड़ी को लाने के लिए जूना अखाड़े के अर्न्तराष्ट्रीय संरक्षक श्रीमहंत हरि गिरि, अर्न्तराष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष श्रीमहंत प्रेम गिरि, अर्न्तराष्ट्रीय पूर्व सभापति श्रीमहंत उमाशंकर भारती, सचिव श्रीमहंत महेश पुरी, थानापति धीरजपुरी के नेतृत्व में नागा संन्यासियों का जत्था बीते बीते शुक्रवार को बागेश्वर पहुंचा। जहां 40 वर्षों तक छड़ी यात्रा का संचालन करने वाले वयोवृद्व श्रीमहंत दीन दयाल गिरी ने यह पवित्र छड़ी श्रीमहंत हरिगिरि, श्रीमहंत प्रेमगिरि तथा छड़ी यात्रा के संयोजक युवा श्रीमहंत पुष्करराज गिरि, महेशपुरी को सौंपी। इससे पूर्व पवित्र छड़ी को नर्मदा तथा गोमती के संगम पर स्नान कराया गया तथा बाघनाथ मन्दिर में पूजा-अर्चना की गयी।
