लखनऊ: गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने को लेकर इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय ने बड़ी टिप्पणी की है और केन्द्र को सुझाव दिया है कि गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित किया जाना चाहिए। बुधवार को इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय ने गाय काटने के एक आरोपी व्यक्ति जावेद की जमानत याचिका को रद्द करते हुए कहा कि गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित किया जाना चाहिए और गौरक्षा को हिंदुओं का मौलिक अधिकार किया जाना चाहिए।
अपनी टिप्पणी में कोर्ट ने कहा कि गायों को सिर्फ धार्मिक नजरिए से नहीं देखना चाहिए और दर देशवारी का फर्ज है कि वह गाय का सम्मान करें और उनकी सुरक्षा भी करें। कॉउ स्लॉटर एक्ट के तहत जावेद नाम के व्यक्ति की जमानत याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायाल ने यह सुझाव दिए हैं।
इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय ने केंद्र सरकार को सुझाव दिया है कि गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित किया जाए, न्यायालय ने कहा है कि केंद्र सरकार संसद में बिल लाकर गायों को राष्ट्रीय पशु का दर्जा दे। हाईकोर्ट ने टिप्पणी की है कि देश में जब गायों का कल्याण होगा तभी देश का कल्याण होगा क्योंकि गाय भारतीय संस्कृति का एक अहम हिस्सा है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि गाय को लेकर संसद जो कानून बनाए उसपर सख्ती से अमल भी कराए।
इससे पहले राजस्थान उच्च न्यायालय ने भी गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने के लिये आवश्यक कदम उठाने को कहा था। राजस्थान उच्च न्यायालय ने राज्य सरकार को निर्देश दिया कि वह केंद्र सरकार के साथ समन्वय में गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने के लिये आवश्यक कदम उठाये। न्यायमूर्ति महेश चंद शर्मा की एकल पीठ ने राज्य के मुख्य सचिव और महाधिवक्ता को गाय का कानूनी संरक्षक भी नियुक्त किया था।
कुछ साल पहले जमीयत उलेमा-ए-हिंद के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मौलाना अरशद मदनी ने भी गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने की मांग की थी। उन्होंने कहा था कि देश में गाय को लेकर हो रहे अत्याचार रोकने के लिए यह कदम उठाया जाना जरूरी है। उन्होंने कहा था कि देश में गोहत्या को लेकर आए दिन माहौल बिगड़ रहे हैं। इस मसले को लेकर कई हत्याएं हो चुकी हैं। गाय और इंसान दोनों को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित किया जाए।
