हरिद्वार (संवाददाता)। गुरुकुल कांगड़ी विश्वविद्यालय के कन्या गुरुकुल परिसर हरिद्वार में छात्राओं की वार्षिक खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। प्रतियोगिता में परिसर में शिक्षा ग्रहण करने वाली छात्राओं ने विभिन्न खेलों में सहभागिता निभाई। बीपीइर्एस की दीक्षा को सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी घोषित किया गया 7 कन्या गुरुकुल परिसर की समन्वयक प्रो.नमिता जोशी ने बताया कि विभिन्न खेलों में जिन छात्राओं ने हिस्सा लिया है। उनको आज पुरस्कृत किया जा रहा है। बैटमिंटन प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान सारिका एवं द्वितीय रुचि ने प्राप्त किया। टेबिल टेनिस प्रतियोगिता में शैलजा प्रथम एवं साक्षी द्वितीय, सौ मीटर दौड़ में दीक्षा प्रथम , ज्योति द्वितीय एवं परीणिता भट्ट तृतीय स्थान पर रही। दो सौ मीटर दौड़ में दीक्षा प्रथम, ज्योति द्वितीय, आशिया तृतीय स्थान पर रहीं। गोला फेंक में दीक्षा सृष्टि एवं नेहा क्रमश: प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय रही। लम्बी कूद में दीक्षा पहले, ज्योति दूसरे अनीबा तीसरे और रस्साकस्सी प्रतियोगिता में गणित विभाग की टीम प्रथम एवं रसायन विज्ञान विभाग की टीम द्वितीय स्थान पर रही। शिक्षणेतर कर्मचारी वर्ग की बैडबिन्टन प्रतियोगिता में पुरुषों में राहुल प्रकाश प्रथम एवं संजय कुमार द्वितीय स्थान पर रहे। महिला वर्ग में मंजू विष्ट प्रथम रीता सहरावत द्वितीय स्थान पर रहीं।इससे पहले मुख्य अतिथि कुलपति प्रो.रूप किशोर शास्त्री ने कहा कि खेलने से छात्राओं का शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास होता है। खेलने से शरीर का सौष्ठव बढ़ता है। वेदों में लिखा है जो अध्ययनकर्ता शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के साथ खूब खेलता है उसका ही मानसिक विकास होता है। कुलसचिव प्रो दिनेश भट्ट ने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग की नयी खेल नीति में स्पष्ट निर्देशित कर दिया गया है कि सभी विश्वविद्यालय के सभी छात्र और छात्राओं को प्रतिदिन खेलकूद पढ़ाई के साथ करना अनिवार्य होगा। इस दौरान प्रो. आरकेएस डागर, डा बिंदु मलिक, प्रो संगीता विद्यालंकार, प्रो. श्याम लता जुयाल, प्रो सुचिता मलिक, डा मुदिता अग्नोत्री , प्रो पदमा सिंह, डा वीणा विश्नोई, डा संगीता मदान, डा. ऋतू, डा रीता और दीपा आदि शामिल रहीं।
