ऋषिकेश (संवाददाता)। गुरुवार को स्वर्गाश्रम में नहाते समय दो युवक गंगा की तेज धारा में बह गये। गनीमत रही की घाट पर तैनात एसडीआरएफ जवानों ने उन्हें देख लिया। इससे उन्हें सुरक्षित बचा लिया गया। गुरुवार दोपहर साढ़े बारह बजे स्वर्गाश्रम घाट पर जिला बुलंदशहर के सिकंदराबाद निवासी पवन पुत्र क्षेत्रपाल सिंह और मनोज पुत्र जयपाल सिंह गंगा में स्नान कर रहे थे। तभी अचानक वह तेज बहाव की चपेट में आ गये और चिल्लाने लगे। उन्हें देख मौके पर मौजूद एसडीआरएफ जवान हेड कांस्टेबल सचिन रावत और आरक्षी कमल किशोर ने छलांग लगा दी। 30 मीटर की दूरी पर दोनों कांवडिय़ों को सुरक्षित बचा लिया गया। पुलिस ने बताया कि दोनों अपने कुछ दोस्तों के साथ नीलकंठ धाम के लिए पहुंचे थे। जो मंदिर जाने से पहले गंगा में स्नान कर रहे थे।
