देहरादून (सू वि)। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शनिवार को पिथौरागढ़ में जिला मुख्यालय के चंडाक रोड स्थित वरदायिनी मंदिर परिसर में आयोजित आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने नव निर्मित 100 फीट ऊंचाई का तिरंगा फहराया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह भूमि देव एवं वीरों की भूमि है। तिरंगा युवाओं में देश भक्ति का जज्बे के साथ ही देश के लिए कुछ करने के लिए प्रेरित करता है। इस अवसर पर पेयजल मंत्री बिशन सिंह चुफाल, विधायक पिथौरागढ़ चंद्रा पंत, अध्यक्ष नगर पालिका राजेद्र रावत, आयुक्त कुमाऊं सुशील कुमार,आईजी निलेश आनंद भरणे,जिलाधिकारी डॉ आशीष कुमार चैहान, पुलिस अधीक्षक लोकेश्वर सिंह मौजूद थे।
