देहरादून रोड़ स्थित धनवंतरी भवन मेें पूजन एवं सम्मान कार्यक्रम का आयोजन हर्षोल्लास के साथ आयोजित किया गया।इस अवसर पर आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा विज्ञान के सभी चिकित्सक एवं आयुर्वेद फार्मेसी के निर्माता तथा गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने विधिवत तरीके से मंत्र उच्चारण एवं पूजन विधि से भगवान धन्वंतरी का हृदयस्पर्शी पूजन
किया। कार्यक्रम में आयुर्वेद चिकित्सकों द्वारा भरत मंदिर में लगाए गए तीन दिवसीय वृहद मेगा आयुर्वेदिक कैंप में योगदान देने वाले आयुर्वेद चिकित्सकों एवं औषधि सुलभ कराने वाले आयुर्वेदिक फार्मेसी के प्रतिनिधियों को उनके समाज में योगदान के लिए पुरस्कृत कर उनको प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किया गया।कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत करते हुए महापौर ने आयुर्वेद की उपयोगिता और इसकी सार्वभौमिकता पर हार्दिक प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि भारत सरकार द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के विशेष विजन के आधार पर धन्वंतरी जयंती को राष्ट्रीय आयुर्वेद दिवस घोषित करना हम सभी के लिए गर्व की बात है। आयुर्वेद हमारा प्राचीनतम चिकित्सा विज्ञान है और इसे विश्व की सबसे प्राचीनतम विधि के रूप में इस धरती के जनमानस का स्वास्थ्य संवर्धन एवं शतायु जीवन की युक्ति मिली है। हमें गर्व है कि यह चिकित्सा पद्धति हमारे देश की धरती से निकलकर आज विश्व के कोने कोने में प्रचलित और प्रसारित हो रही है। आयुर्वेद विशेषज्ञ डॉ डीके श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि यह हमारा गर्व है कि भारत की संस्कृति भारत की सभ्यता और भारत के चिकित्सा पद्धति विश्व में सबसे प्राचीनतम चिकित्सा विज्ञान है।कार्यक्रम का संचालन आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा का डॉ मधु शर्मा ने बड़े ही बेहतरीन तरीके से किया जिसमें धनवंतरी दिवस के अवसर पर आयुर्वेद के सेवा और आयुर्वेद के प्रसार के लिए तमाम चिकित्सकों को सम्मानित किया गया जिसमें डॉ डीके श्रीवास्तव डॉक्टर ,जी एल अरोड़ा ,डॉ अरुण प्रसाद, डॉ रवि कौशल, डॉ सीमा सक्सेना ,डॉ निवेदिता श्रीवास्तव, डॉक्टर भास्कर आनंद, डॉक्टर प्रतीक रावत, डॉ जेपी राठी ,डॉ द्वारिका प्रसाद बलोदी ,डॉक्टर एंड सेमवाल, डॉ मधु आनंद शर्मा, डॉ विंदेश्वरी नौटियाल, डॉक्टर शैली कक्कड़ ,डॉक्टर शिल्पी , डॉ आनंद श्रीवास्तव, डॉ अनिल मौर्य, डॉ तनवीर अरोड़ा आदि सम्मानित हुए।
