Dehradun:The half marathon organising by Uttarakhand Police is all set to go on sunday morning from police line racecourse. The marathon already had registered more than 20,000 participants not from dehradun but also from international platform. The marathon is highlighting the nowadays 2 leading issues of the society i.e., *ROAD SAFETY AND WOMEN SAFETY as a theme. The event also got it glimpses since november where UK Police organised various programmes in school and police line racecourse regarding women safety and importance of road safety respectively. Various personnels  from mdda dehradun, NGOs,school students etc  participated in the final day conference held at Police line racecourse on 9 december. Anukriti Gusain, Miss Asia Pacific, Seema Tomar,Indian trap shooter, womania band, Dr.Manisha. The country could only grow if the women of the country would be powerful in the society. Women must be powerful to reach their access in every field of the society and girls should take inspiration from the women that already set the benchmarks in the society, said Anukriti Gusain at conference.  India’s  upcoming athelete  Harendra kumar chaudhary will be the chief guest of the event to start the marathon and chief minister dehradun trivendra singh rawat will be the honourable guest to award the winners.
