पंजाब नेशनल बैंक के प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में केटरिंग को लेकर डाले जाने वाले टेंडर की प्रक्रिया को लेकर संबन्धित ठेकेदारों में आक्रोश देखा जा रहा है। तेग बहादुर रोड स्थित इस प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में बीते 11 मार्च को टेंडर प्रक्रिया को पूरा किया जाना था किन्तु देखने में आया कि विधिवत टेंडर स्वीकारने की जिस प्रक्रिया का अमूमन विधिवत पालन किया जाता है- उस प्रक्रिया का पालन नहीं किया गया। मौजूदा पी एन बी अधिकारी इस प्रक्रिया को मनमाने ढंग से निपटाते हुए देखे गए। टेंडर डालने के लिए एक बॉक्स मुहैया कराया जाता है जो कि नदारद था। इसके अलावा संबन्धित अधिकारी टेंडर के दावेदारों से टेंडर लेकर जेब में डालते जा रहे थे। ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे वे टेंडर प्रक्रिया पूरी होने से पहले ही किसे टेंडर देना है- यह तय कर चुके थे। इन समस्त गतिविधियों को सीसी टीवी कैमरो से देखा और जाँचा जा सकता है। इस मनमानी के विरोध में जनपद देहरादून के जिलाधिकारी के अलावा पंजाब नेशनल बैंक देहरादून के सर्किल हेड, पंजाब नेशनल बैंक दिल्ली- जनरल मैनेजर (एच आर), पी एन बी प्रशिक्षण केंद्र देहरादून ही नहीं अपितु मुख्यमंत्री उत्तराखंड को शिकायती पत्र देकर अवगत कराया गया है किन्तु अभी तक इस मामले में किसी तरह की छानबीन होने की जानकारी नहीं मिली है।
