हल्द्वानी (संवाददाता)। आरओ/सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट पंकज उपाध्याय ने 2-3 नवंबर को पहले चरण में अपने चुनावी खर्च का ब्योरा पेश न करने वाले चार मेयर प्रत्याशियों और 188 पार्षद प्रत्याशियों को नोटिस भेज दिए हैं। चेतावनी दी है कि वह 8, 9, 10 नवंबर में से किसी भी तिथि को कोषागार में अपने चुनावी रजिस्टर चेक करवा लें, वरना उनके नामांकन रद्द करने की संस्तुति कर राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग को भेज दी जाएगी। वहीं अब तक नौ मेयर प्रत्याशियों में पांच मेयर और 116 पार्षद प्रत्याशी अपने चुनावी रजिस्टर कोषागार में चेक करा चुके हैं। बाकी लोगों ने अभी तक अपने चुनावी रजिस्टर कोषागार में चेक नहीं कराए हैं। कोषाधिकारी एससी पांडे ने बताया कि उन्होंने खर्च का ब्योरा नहीं देने वाले मेयर प्रत्याशियों अनिल कुमार, रूपेन्द्र नागर, शिवगणेश और सुशील उनियाल के बारे में मुख्य कोषाधिकारी अनीता आर्या को शिकायती पत्र भेज दिया था। इधर मेयर और पार्षद प्रत्याशियों की सहूलियत के लिए मुख्य कोषाधिकारी/नोडल अधिकारी निर्वाचन अनीता आर्या ने कोषागार में चुनावी खर्च का ब्योरा पेश करने के लिए 10 नवंबर तक का समय दिया है। पहले चुनावी खर्च पेश करने की अंतिम तिथि आठ और नौ नवंबर थी।
