कोलकाता । पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने किसानों के हितों की लड़ाई में पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री यशवंत सिन्हा को मंगलवार को अपना पूरा समर्थन दिया और कहा कि वह भाजपा के इस वरिष्ठ नेता के बारे में चिंतित हैं, जिन्हें महाराष्ट्र पुलिस ने हिरासत में लिया है. ममता ने कहा कि वह तृणमूल कांग्रेस सांसद दिनेश त्रिवेदी को सिन्हा से मिलने भेज रही हैं, जिन्हें महाराष्ट्र के अकोला में बीती शाम हिरासत में ले लिया गया था. विदर्भ क्षेत्र के कपास और सोयाबीन उत्पादकों के प्रति सरकार की कथित उदासीनता के खिलाफ उस वक्त सिन्हा सैकड़ों किसानों के साथ प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे. ममता ने ट्वीट किया कि वह यशवंत सिन्हा के जेल में होने को लेकर चिंतित हैं. उन्होंने कहा, ”मैं अपने सांसद दिनेश त्रिवेदी को उनसे मिलने भेज रही हूं. यशवंत सिन्हा किसानों के हितों के लिए लड़ रहे हैं. उन्हें हमारा पूरा समर्थन है.”
