देहरादून (संवाददाता)। गैरसैण राजधानी निर्माण अभियान के आंदोलन को गुरुवार को उत्तराखंड महिला मंच ने अपना समर्थन दिया। मंच की महिला कार्यकर्ताओं ने आंदोलन को मुकाम तक ले जाने का आह्वान किया। यहां मंच की संयोजिका कमला पंत के नेतृत्व में महिलाओं ने गैरसैण को स्थाई राजधानी बनाए जाने को लेकर धरना स्थल पर प्रदर्शन भी किया। कमला पंत ने कहा कि पहाड़ के विकास को लेकर अगर सरकारें गंभीर हैं तो गैरसैण को हर हाल में स्थाई राजधानी बनाना होगा। विकास की गति तेज करने और पलायन को रोकने का एकमात्र उपाय है कि गैरसैण को उत्तराखंड की राजधानी घोषित किया जाए। इससे पूर्व कई छात्र नेताओं ने भी अभियान को अपना समर्थन दिया। पूर्व महासचिव रह चुके विपुल गौड़ ने कहा कि छात्र शक्ति को जब भी गैरसैण राजधानी निर्माण अभियान बुलाएगा वह आगे बढ़कर आंदोलन में भाग लेंगे। छात्र नेता भगवती प्रसाद ने कहा कि समय आ गया है कि गैरसैण राजधानी निर्माण अभियान को प्रदेश के स्कूलों, कालेजों और विश्वविद्यालयों तक पहुंचाया जाए। इसे उत्तराखंड का जन आंदोलन बनाया जाए। वहीं मेरठ विवि के छात्र नेता अंकित थपलियाल ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड आंदोलन की तर्ज पर प्रवासी उत्तराखंड के लोगों को भी गैरसैण राजधानी अभियान से जोडऩा होगा। इस मौके पर महिला मंच की जिलाध्यक्ष निर्मला बिष्ट, सचिव शकुंतला गुसांई, शूरवीर सिंह नेगी, आशुतोष ममगाई, जयनारायण बहुगुणा, जयकृत कंडवाल, सुरेश नेगी, मदन भंडारी, मनोज ध्यानी, मुख्य संयोजनकर्ता लक्ष्मी प्रसाद थपलियाल, पूर्व सैनिक पीसी थपलियाल, जगमोहन मेहंदीरत्ता, जगदीश कुकरेती आदि रहे।
