तोक्यो । राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने मंगलवार को अपनी नेपाली समकक्ष बिद्या देवी भंडारी से यहां मुलाकात की और उनके साथ परस्पर हित और द्विपक्षीय सहयोग के कई मुद्दों पर चर्चा की। कोविंद जापान के सम्राट नारुहितो के राज्यभिषेक समारोह में हिस्सा लेने के लिए यहां आए हुए हैं। राष्ट्रपति भवन के आधिकारिक ट्विटर हैंडल पर कहा गया है कि कोविंद ने नेपाल की राष्ट्रपति भंडारी के साथ वार्ता की है। कोविंद 29 साल में जापान की यात्रा करने वाले पहले भारतीय राष्ट्रपति हैं। ट्वीट में कहा गया है, ” राष्ट्रपति कोविंद ने जापान के तोक्यो में नेपाल की राष्ट्रपति बिद्या देवी भंडारी से मुलाकात की। दोनों नेताओं ने भारत और नेपाल के बीच परस्पर हित और द्विपक्षीय सहयोग के कई मुद्दों पर चर्चा की। राष्ट्रपति कोविंद फिलीपीन की अपनी पांच दिवसीय यात्रा पूरी करके सोमवार को जापानी राजधानी पहुंचे थे। अपनी तीन दिनी यात्रा के दौरान कोविंद तोक्यो में भारतीय समुदाय से भी मुखातिब होंगे।
