देहरादून। कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने शनिवार को कैंप कार्यालय में यमुना- मसूरी पेयजल पंपिंग योजना की सम्बंधित विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ समीक्षा की। बैठक के दौरान कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने मसूरी पेयजल योजना के संबंध में आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिए। मंत्री ने अधिकारियों को योजना में हाइडल विभाग का जो पेंडिंग कार्य है जिसकी वजह से पंप चल नहीं पा रहे है, उसे शीघ्र कार्य पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिए। मंत्री ने कहा सितम्बर माह तक हर हाल में निर्माण कार्य पूर्ण करने के भी अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया। मंत्री ने यूपीसीएल एवं पेयजल के अधिकारियों को आपसी समन्वय बनाकर कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने योजना के तहत मसूरी कैम्पटी के पास क्यारसी गांव में सब स्टेशन के निर्माण संबंधित अधिकारियों को तेजी से कार्य करने के भी निर्देशित किया। उन्होंने बताया कि पेयजल योजना के लागू होने से मसूरी को पन्द्रह मिलियन लीटर डेली (एमएलडी) वाटर दिया जा सकेगा। मंत्री ने कहा कि जून २०१८ में एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान राज्यसभा सांसद अनिल बलूनी ने पेयजल योजना निर्माण की घोषणा की थी, जिसकी स्वीकृति के बाद मार्च २०१९ में पहली किश्त रुपये १० करोड़ पेयजल विभाग को मिल गए थे। केन्द्र सरकार की १४४ करोड़ लागत से निर्मित महत्वाकांक्षी यमुना-मसूरी पेयजल पंपिंग योजना जिसकी पाइपलाइन १८ किमी यमुना से ऊंचाई १.२ किमी की परियोजना के माध्यम से नब्बे हज़ार से अधिक की आबादी लाभान्वित होगी और अगले ३० वर्षो तक मसूरी वासियों की पेयजल की समस्या से निजात मिलेगी। इस महत्वपूर्ण योजना के लिए मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने केंद्र सरकार और राज्य सभा सांसद अनिल बलूनी और मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी का भी आभार प्रकट किया। उन्होंने कहा राज्यसभा सांसद अनिल बलूनी और मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के प्रयासों से मसूरी की पानी की समस्या का निदान हुआ है। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अधिशासी अभियंता पेयजल संजय सिंह, अधीक्षण अभियंता डी.के.बंसल, अधीक्षण अभियंता प्रवीण राय, अधीक्षण अभियंता यूपीसीएल राहुल जैन, अधिशासी अभियंता संदीप कश्यप आदि उपस्थित रहे।
