रायपुर (जनसम्पर्क विभाग)। वर्ल्ड इकोनामिक फोरम द्वारा विश्व स्तर पर वन ट्रिलियन ट्री योजना पर काम किया जा रहा है। इस योजना के अंतर्गत वर्ल्ड इकोनामिक फोरम पर्यावरण संरक्षण के क्षेत्र में काम कर रहा है। छत्तीसगढ़ में पर्यावरण संरक्षण को और कैसे बेहतर बनाया जा रहा है इस संबंध में वन ट्रिलियन ट्री कार्यक्रम की प्रमुख निकोल सेवाड के साथ मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से परिचर्चा में शामिल हुए। इस परिचर्चा में भारत में वन ट्रिलियन ट्री कार्यक्रम की संचालक रित्विका भट्टाचार्य और भैरवी जानी ने कार्यक्रम के बारे में मुख्यमंत्री को जानकारी दी। परिचर्चा में वर्ल्ड इकोनामिक फोरम की तरफ से वन ट्रिलियन ट्री की प्रमुख सुश्री निकोल सेवाड ने छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार द्वारा पर्यावरण संरक्षण, ट्री कवर और फारेस्ट कवर को बढ़ाने के क्षेत्र में किए जा रहे कार्यों के लिए मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल की तारीफ की। सुश्री निकोल सेवाड ने कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ के जंगल को अर्थव्यवस्था से जोड़ना एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है जिससे पर्यावरण संरक्षण के साथ ही आर्थिक गतिविधियों को भी बढ़ावा दिया जा सकता है। परिचर्चा में मुख्यमंत्री बघेल ने वर्ल्ड इकोनामिक फोरम के सामने अपनी बात रखते हुए कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ में साइंटिफिक तरीके से वनों के संरक्षण और भूजल स्रोत को रीचार्ज करने का काम किया जा रहा है जिससे छत्तीसगढ़ के नाले 10 से लेकर 30 सेंटीमीटर तक रीचार्ज हुए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने वर्ल्ड इकोनामिक फोरम के सामने अपनी बात रखते हुए कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ में लघु वनोपजों के क्षेत्र में बेहतर काम किया जा रहा है, यदि इनके लिए लघु उद्योगों की स्थापना की जाए तो ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में रहने वाले लोगों को बहुत फायदा होगा और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के क्षेत्र में भी लोग जागरूक होंगे। परिचर्चा में बोलते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जंगलों को वन वासियों ने ही बचाया है और वे वनों के रक्षक हैं। छत्तीसगढ़ में 42 फीसदी क्षेत्र जंगलों से घिरा हुआ है और राज्य में 31 फीसदी आबादी आदिवासियों की है जो प्रमुख रूप से वनों पर निर्भर हैं। इन्हें और समृद्ध बनाने के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार व्यक्तिगत और सामुदायिक वन अधिकार पट्टों का वितरण कर रही है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने वर्ल्ड इकोनामिक फोरम को सुझाव देते हुए कहा कि मौसम के अनुसार ही यदि हम पौधों का रोपण करें तो वनों के विकसित होने की संभावनाएं ज्यादा रहेंगी और ये तभी हो सकेगा जब इनको पर्याप्त मात्रा में पानी मिलता रहे। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि नरवा योजना के अंतर्गत छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने यही काम किया है। इससे नालों में पानी रीचार्ज हुआ है और पानी की पर्याप्त मात्रा होने की वजह से जंगल का दायरा बढ़ रहा है। वर्ल्ड इकोनामिक फोरम के साथ मुख्यमंत्री बघेल की वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग परिचर्चा के दौरान अपर मुख्य सचिव सुब्रत साहू और प्रधान मुख्य वन संरक्षक राकेश चतुर्वेदी भी मौजूद थे।
