देहरादून: एसजेवीएन लिमिटेड की नेपाल में एक अधीनस्थ कंपनी एसजेवीएन अरुण-3 पावर डेवलपमेंट ने आज भारत और नेपाल के बैंकों के कंसोर्टियम के साथ 6333.40 करोड़ रुपए के ऋण की निकासी के लिए सावधि ऋण दस्तावेजों पर हस्ताक्षर किए। एसबीआई इंडिया और पीएनबी के नेतृत्व वाले कंसोर्टियम में नेपाल के एक्ज़िम बैंक, केनरा, यूबीआई और एवरेस्ट बैंक तथा नबील बैंक कंसोर्टियम सदस्य हैं। सावधि ऋण हस्ताक्षर समारोह में श्री नन्द लाल शर्मा, अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक, एसजेवीएन तथा श्री ए.के सिंह, निदेशक (वित्त) के अतिरिक्त वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों में राजेश कुमार गुप्ता, मुख्य महाप्रबंधक (बीडीई)/प्रमुख (संपर्क कार्यालय) एवं ए.एम. झा, मुख्य महाप्रबंधक (वित्त एवं लेखा) उपस्थित थे।
इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए नन्द लाल शर्मा ने एसजेवीएन की नेपाल में 900 मेगावाट अरुण – 3 एचईपी के निर्माण को फरवरी 2025 में परियोजना के विकास समझौते में निर्धारित कमीशनिंग से एक वर्ष पहले, वित्तीय वर्ष 2023-24 में पूरा करने की प्रतिबद्धता को पुन: दोहराया।
दस्तावेजों पर कंसोर्टियम बैंकों के संबंधित हस्ताक्षरकर्ताओं की और एसएपीडीसी से श्री जितेंद्र यादव, मुख्य वित्त अधिकारी, एसएपीडीसी द्वारा हस्ताक्षर किए गए।
शर्मा ने कहा कि एसजेवीएन अपनी पूर्ण स्वामित्व वाली अधीनस्थ कंपनी एसजेवीएन अरुण-3 पावर डेवलपमेंट के माध्यम से नेपाल में 900 मेगावाट की अरुण-3 जलविद्युत परियोजना को कार्यान्वित कर रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि यह परियोजना निर्माण के अग्रिम चरण में है तथा इसे वित्तीय वर्ष 2023-24 में पूरा करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। श्री शर्मा ने बताया कि परियोजना के पूरा होने में लगभग एक वर्ष का समय लगेगा, जिससे न केवल एसजेवीएन अपितु नेपाल सरकार को भी बहुत लाभ होगा, जो देश के औद्योगिक विकास के लिए बुनियादी ढांचे के रूप में विद्युत की आपूर्ति आरंभ कर देगा।
श्री शर्मा ने आगे कहा कि नेपाल सरकार ने एसजेवीएन द्वारा अरुण जलविद्युत परियोजना के कुशल कार्यान्वयन से संतुष्ट होकर विश्वास के परिणामस्वरूप कंपनी को लोअर अरुण जलविद्युत परियोजना भी आबंटित की है।
वर्तमान में एसजेवीएन के पास 16000 मेगावाट से अधिक का पोर्टफोलियो है, जिसमें 2016.50 मेगावाट स्थापित क्षमता है तथा शेष विकास के विभिन्न चरणों में है। पोर्टफोलियो में इस आश्चर्यजनक वृद्धि ने एसजेवीएन को अपने साझा विजन को संशोधित और अपग्रेड करने में समर्थ किया है। अब, कंपनी वर्ष 2023 तक 5000 मेगावाट, 2030 तक 25000 मेगावाट तथा वर्ष 2040 तक 50000 मेगावाट स्थापित क्षमता हासिल करने के लिए तैयार है।
