रायपुर (जनसम्पर्क विभाग)। राज्यपाल सुश्री अनुसुईया उइके से राजभवन में सर्व गुजराती समाज छत्तीसगढ़ के प्रतिनिधिमण्डल ने सौजन्य भेंट कर उन्हें नवरात्रि उत्सव में शामिल होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया।
प्रतिनिधिमण्डल ने बताया कि सर्व गुजराती समाज छत्तीसगढ़, श्री गुजराती समाज भिलाई, धमतरी एवं बिलासपुर द्वारा नवरात्रि उत्सव (गरबा) का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इस अवसर पर सर्व गुजराती समाज के प्रतिनिधि एवं संरक्षक श्री रमेश मोदी, प्रदेश अध्यक्ष श्री प्रीतेश गांधी, श्री अरविंद दोशी, श्री अरविंद भानुशाली, श्री महेंद्र राजपुरिया, श्री दीपेश नथवाणी, श्री यसवंत गोहिल, श्री पंकज वादोदरिया एवं श्रीमती भावना टाँक उपस्थित थे।
श्री प्रीतेश गांधी ने बताया कि वर्षों से माँ दुर्गा की आराधना का पर्व नवरात्रि के उपलक्ष्य में सर्व गुजराती समाज छत्तीसगढ़ द्वारा सभी शहरों में धूमधाम से नवरात्रि उत्सव का आयोजन किया जाता है। उन्होंने बताया कि सर्व गुजराती समाज छत्तीसगढ़ सदैव त्योहारों को परंपरागत तरीके से मनाने में विश्वास रखता हैं। प्रतिवर्ष गुजराती समाज द्वारा गरबा का भव्य आयोजन किया जाता है। गरबा में विशेष रूप से पारंपरिक वेशभूषा में माता की आराधना करने की प्रथा रही है। त्योहारों के विशेष महत्व को समझते हुए नवरात्रि में गरबा का आयोजन से परंपरा और संस्कृति को अखंड रखने का प्रयास है।
