रांची । झारखंड की राजधानी रांची में १४ जुलाई की सुबह करीब सवा ११ बजे डोरंडा थाना क्षेत्र में कार में बैठे अल्ताफ आलम की सरेआम गोली मार कर हत्या कर दी गयी थी। घटना को अंजाम देने के बाद स्कूटी और मोटरसाइकिल सवार अपराधी भागने में सफल रहे थे। यह हत्या वर्चस्व की लड़ाई में हुई थी।
रांची के वरीय पुलिस अधीक्षक सुरेंद्र कुमार झा ने रविवार को जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि अल्ताफ की हत्या जमीन कारोबार में वर्चस्व की लड़ाई में हुई थी। दिन दहाड़े पुलिस को चुनौती देने वाली इस घटना के खुलासे के लिए एसआईटी का गठन किया गया। इस विशेष टीम ने मौके पर प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार और घटनास्थल के आसपास पर लगे सीसीटीवी फुटेज के आधार पर १० आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। गिरफ्तार अपराधियों की पहचान राशिद अंसारी उर्फ मारी, साहेब खान उर्फ दादा, मो. चांद उर्फ नाथु, मो. राज उर्फ मो.महताब, निजाद अख्तर उर्फ मुन्ना उर्फ बुलेट, शहबाज करतूस उर्फ सूखा उर्फ चोंच, राशि अंसारी उर्फ फूल, सरफराज कुरैशी उर्फ मुग्गी, मो बारिश और सैफ अली खान को अलग-अलग स्थानों से बरामद किया गया। इनके पास से हत्या में प्रयुक्त पिस्तौल, कारतूस, मोटरसाइकिल, स्कूटी और अन्य सामान बरामद किया गया है।
