विकासनगर: सहसपुर पुलिस को नशे के अवैध कारोबारियों को दबोचने में एक और सफलता हाथ लगी है। धर्मावाला पुलिस ने शुक्रवार शाम दर्ररीट चैक पोस्ट पर सहसपुर निवासी दो अभियुक्तों को अवैध चरस के साथ गिरफ्तार किया। सहसपुर में अब तक इस महीने के अंतर्गत यह तीसरी बार नशे के कारोबारियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक निवेदिता कुकरेती द्वारा चलाये जा रहे अभियान के तहत क्षेत्राधिकारी विकासनगर के पर्यवेक्षण में सहसपुर थानाध्यक्ष पंकज देवरानी के निर्देशन में धर्मावाला चौकी के एसआई रंजीत खनेड़ा अपने दो कांस्टेबलों के साथ दर्ररीट चेक पोस्ट पर चेकिंग अभियान चला रहे थे। तभी पुलिस को सहारनपुर की तरफ से एक पल्सर संख्या HR 02 R 9397 व एक सुपर स्प्लेंडर संख्या UK 16A 7726 आती हुई दिखाई दी जिससे पुलिस ने रुकने का इशारा किया, पर पुलिस के रोकने के इशारे पर उन दोनों ने अपनी गाड़ी सहारनपुर की तरफ मोड़ दी पर पुलिस ने मुस्तैदी दिखाते हुए उन्हें धर दबोचा। जब पुलिस ने उन दोनों को गाड़ी के कागज़ दिखाने को बोला तो उन दोनों के पास गाड़ी के कागज़ नहीं मिले जिसके चलते पुलिस ने उनकी चेकिंग की तो दोनों के पास 300 ग्राम चरस बरामद हुई जिसमें से अभियुक्त दानिश पुत्र मुन्ने खान निवासी ख़ुशालपुर थाना सहसपुर से 140 ग्राम व सोनू पुत्र नूर मोहम्मद निवासी ख़ुशालपुर धर्मावाला के पास से 160 ग्राम अवैध चरस बरामद हुई। पकडे गए अभियुक्तों ने बताया की वह दोनों ही चरस का नशा करते है और मिर्जापुर से चरस लाकर खुशालपुर व सहारनपुर के युवकों व मजदूरो को बेचते है। पुलिस ने दोनों अभियुक्तों पर एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज कर गिरफ्तार कर लिया है और न्यायालय में पेश किया है।
