देहरादून (सू0 वि0)। मुख्यमंत्री श्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत ने लौह पुरूष सरदार बल्लभ भाई पटेल की जयंती पर घंटाघर देहरादून स्थित उनकी प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया। मुख्यमंत्री श्री त्रिवेन्द्र ने कहा कि सरदार पटेल ने स्वतंत्रता के लिए देश के संघर्ष में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाई एवं देश की आजादी के बाद प्रथम गृह मंत्री बने। उन्होंने देशी रियासतों के एकीकरण में अहम भूमिका निभाई। इस अवसर पर सांसद श्रीमती माला राज्यलक्ष्मी शाह, भाजपा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष श्री बंशीधर भगत, मेयर श्री सुनील उनियाल गामा, विधायक श्री खजानदास उपस्थित थे।
