पिथौरागढ़ (संवाददाता)। जिला मुख्यालय में भाजपा ने केंद्र सरकार के चार साल पूरे होने पर स्वच्छता अभियान चलाया। स्वच्छता अभियान के जिला संयोजक ललित पंत और राकेश देवलाल के नेतृत्व में भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं ने दीनदयाल पार्क, महात्मा गांधी पार्क, गोविंद बल्लभ पार्क, अंबेडकर पार्क, हेमंत महर शहीद स्मारक, शहीद गिरीश कापड़ी स्मारक, स्व. निर्मल पंडित स्मारक समेत कई स्थानों में सफाई अभियान चलाया। इन पार्कों और स्मारकों में माल्यार्पण कर महान विभूतियों को याद किया गया। पंत ने कहा कि स्मारकों और पार्क की सफाई के लिए लोगों को आगे आना होगा जिससे नगर की स्वच्छता बनी रहे।
कार्यक्रम में पूर्व दर्जा राज्य मंत्री महेंद्र सिंह लुंठी, सुभाष चंद्र जोशी, भगवान बल्लभ पंत, गिरीश जोशी, राम सिंह बिष्ट, दीवानी चंद शाही, ममता सिंह, प्रतिभा आदि मौजूद रहे ।
