देहरादून (सू0 वि0)। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बुधवार को सायं रेसकोर्स में आयोजित सरस मेले में प्रतिभाग कर मेले में प्रतिभागी महिला स्वयं सहायता समूहों को सम्मानित किया। उन्होंने विभिन्न प्रदेशों से आये स्वयं सहायता समूहों के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए सरस मेलों के आयोजन को ग्रामीण आर्थिकी एवं महिला सशक्तिकरण को मजबूती प्रदान करने वाला बताया। मुख्यमंत्री ने मेले में स्वयं सहायता समूहों के स्टॉलों का भ्रमण कर उनके द्वारा तैयार किये गये उत्पादों की सराहना की। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन विभिन्न राज्यों के परम्परागत हस्तशिल्प एवं लोक कलाओं को प्रभावी मंच प्रदान करने के साथ उनके संरक्षण के लिये भी प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करते हैं। इससे शिल्पियों, बुनकरों एवं कारीगरों को अपने उत्पादों के विपणन के लिये बाजार भी उपलब्ध कराने में भी मदद मिलती है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में स्थानीय उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विशेष प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। इसके लिये महिला स्वयं सहायता समूहों को 05 लाख तक का ऋण बिना ब्याज के उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने वोकल फॉर लोकल का मंत्र दिया है जिससे प्रतिभाओं को आगे आने का मौका मिलेगा तथा जहां बाजारों को उत्पाद मिलेंगे वहीं उत्पादकों को बाजार उपलब्ध होगा। प्रदेश में वोकल फॉर लोकल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए भी इस तरह के आयोजन महत्वपूर्ण हैं। इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल, विधायक खजान दास, सचिव बी.वी.आर.सी. पुरूषोतम, जिलाधिकारी सोनिका, मुख्य विकास अधिकारी सुश्री झरना कमठान आदि उपस्थित थे।
