देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री श्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने आज सड़क को डेढ़ लेन करने की मांग कर रहे नंदप्रयाग घाट क्षेत्र के ग्रामीणों की मुराद पूरी कर दी है। इस सड़क के चैड़ीकरण के लिए मुख्यमंत्री ने आज घोषणा कर दी है। इसके लिए संबंधित विभाग को निर्देश भी जारी हो गए हैं। पदभार संभालने के बाद मुख्यमंत्री ने यह एक अहम फैसला लिया है, जिसकी मांग के लिए स्थानीय ग्रामीण आंदोलन कर रहे थे। जनपद चमोली के नंद्रप्रयाग घाट क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आने वाले करीब 70 गांवों के ग्रामीण अपने विकास खंड की सड़क को डेढ़ लेन करने की मांग को लेकर आंदोलनरत हैं। सड़क से हजारों लोगों के हित जुड़े हैं। क्षेत्र की इस मांग को लेकर क्षेत्रीय विधायक श्रीमती मुन्नी देवी शाह ने मुख्यमंत्री से मुलाकात की और उन्हें वस्तुस्थिति से अवगत कराया। उन्होंने बातया कि सिंगल लेन सड़क होने के कारण नंदप्रयाग घाट क्षेत्र के ग्रामीणों को भारी परेशानियां उठानी पड़ रही हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि संकरे मार्ग पर दुर्घटनाओं का खतरा रहता है। कहा कि ग्रामीणों की मांग जायज है। क्षेत्र की समस्या पर संज्ञान लेते हुए मुख्यमंत्री जी ने समस्या का समाधान कर दिया है। उन्होंने थराली विधान सभा के अंतर्गत आने वाले नंदप्रयाग से घाट बाजार तक की सड़क को डेढ लेन करने की घोषणा कर दी है। इसके लिए वित्त व नियोजन से लेकर लोक निर्माण विभाग को भी कार्रवाई के निर्देश जारी कर दिए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उनके लिये जनता सबसे बढ़कर है। जो जनता चाहेगी और जो जनता के हित में होगा वह किया जाएगा। जनहित में हर मुमकिन काम किया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर ब्लॉक प्रमुख घाट सुश्री भारती देवी फरस्वाण, जिला पंचायत सदस्य बूरा वार्ड 25 सुश्री नन्दिता रावत, मण्डल अध्यक्ष घाट खिलाप सिंह नेगी, ज्येष्ठ प्रमुख घाट श्री अब्बल सिंह कठैत, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता श्री त्रिभुवन सिंह फरस्वाण, पूर्व क्षेत्र पंचायत सदस्य श्री राकेश रावत तथा कर्नल हरेन्द्र सिंह भी उपस्थित थे। सूचना एवं लोक सम्पर्क विभाग
