देहरादून/ऋषिकेश (दीपक राणा)। वर्ष 2019 में उक्त मामले में लगातार सुनवाई चली एवं आरोप प्रत्यारोप सिद्ध किए गए। वर्ष 2014 में अभियुक्त गुरु चरण को 45 ग्राम स्मैक के साथ कोतवाली ऋषिकेश पुलिस द्वारा गिरफ्तार किया गया था। जिसके संबंध में कोतवाली ऋषिकेश में अभियुक्त के विरुद्ध मुकदमा अपराध संख्या 231/14, धारा 21(ब) , 8(स) स्वापक औषधि एवं मनोत्तेजक पदार्थ अधिनियम 1905 के अंतर्गत मुकदमा पंजीकृत हुआ था।
श्रीमान पुलिस उप- महानिरीक्षक/ वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक महोदय जनपद देहरादून के द्वारा मुकदमे के सफल अनावरण एवं अच्छे से पैरोंकारी कर, अभियुक्त को सजा करवाने हेतु आदेशित किया गया था।
उक्त आदेश के अनुपालन में पुलिस अधीक्षक देहात व क्षेत्राधिकारी ऋषिकेश महोदय के निर्देशन में प्रभारी निरीक्षक कोतवाली ऋषिकेश महोदय के द्वारा पैरोकार को समय-समय पर आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिए गए।
मुकदमे से संबंधित साक्ष्य उपलब्ध कराकर माननीय न्यायालय के समक्ष पैरोंकारी की गई।
उक्त संबंध में माननीय न्यायालय विशेष एनडीपीएस एक्ट देहरादून के अंतर्गत मुकदमा की सुनवाई चली।
वर्ष 2019 में उक्त मामले में लगातार सुनवाई चली एवं आरोप प्रत्यारोप सिद्ध किए गए।
जिस पर माननीय न्यायालय द्वारा दिनांक 18 सितंबर 2020 को उपरोक्त मुकदमे से संबंधित अभियुक्त गुरुचरण को 10 वर्ष के कठोर कारावास एवं एक लाख रूपये के अर्थदंड से दंडित किया गया है। तथा अर्थदंड अदा न करने पर 1 वर्ष का अतिरिक्त कारावास होगा।

उक्त अभियुक्त गुरुचरण कोतवाली ऋषिकेश का हिस्ट्रीशीटर भी है तथा इसके विरुद्ध कोतवाली ऋषिकेश में अवैध शराब बिक्री, एनडीपीएस अधिनियम व गुंडा के लगभग 40 मुकदमा पंजीकृत हैं।
