पौड़ी। आपदा के मद्देनजर पुलिस के जवानों का पौड़ी में प्रशिक्षण शुरू हो गया। सात दिवसीय इस प्रशिक्षण में जिले के विभिन्न थानों आए पचास से अधिक जवान हिस्सा ले रहा है। पुलिस जवानों को प्रशिक्षण एसडीआरएफ की टीम दे रही है। गुरुवार को पौड़ी पुलिस लाइन में पुलिस जवानों का आपदा में राहत एवं बचाव को लेकर प्रशिक्षण की शुरूआत एसएसपी पौड़ी जगतराम जोशी ने की। एसएसपी ने कहा कि मानसून नजदीक है। पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में आपदा को लेकर संवेदनशील क्षेत्र भी अधिक है। ऐसे में यह जरूरी है कि पुलिस के जवान भी राहत एवं बचाव कैसा किया जा सकता है उसे सीख लें। इसके लिए एसडीआरएफ की टीम को देहरादून से बुलाया गया है। टीम में एक एसआई सहित पांच लोग शामिल हैं। प्रशिक्षण के पहले दिन टीम ने आपदा से संबंधित जानकारी जवानों को दी। बताया कि किस तरह आपदा के समय कम समय में राहत एवं बचाव कर जन-धन हानि को बचाया जा सकता है।
