विकासनगर (संवाददाता)। सहसपुर थाना पुलिस ने मुखबिर की सूचना पर खुशहालपुर गांव के समीप आम के एक बाग में छापेमारी की। छापेमारी के दौरान चार लोग मौके पर एक गोवंश को काटने की तैयारी कर रहे थे। उनके पास गोवंश को काटने के हथियार आदि रखे हुए थे। तभी पुलिस को मौके पर आते देख तीन आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गये। जबकि एक आरोपी को गोवंश के साथ पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया। आरोपी नफीस पुत्र जरीफ निवासी खुशालपुर को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर दिया। आरोपी के
कब्जे से पुलिस ने एक जिंदा गोवंश, एक कुल्हाड़ी, चाकू, रस्सी व शाल आदि बरामद किये। गिरफ्तार आरोपी सहित चारों के खिलाफ पुलिस ने गोवंश संरक्षण अधिनियम में मुकदमा दर्ज कर आरोपी को कोर्ट में पेश किया। जहां से आरोपी को न्यायिक अभिरक्षा में जेल भेज दिया है। पुलिस की टीम में एसआई पंकज कुमार, कांस्टेबल सुधीर कुमार, संदीप कुमार, अमित कुमार, तेजपाल सिंह व इकरार शामिल रहे।
