देहरादून (संवाददता)। पथरी बाग स्थित श्री लक्ष्मण विद्यालय इंटर कालेज अब श्री गुरुराम राय लक्ष्मण इंटर कालेज के नाम से जाना जाएगा। विद्यालय प्रबंधक की ओर से नाम बदलने की मांग पर उप सचिव गिरधर सिंह भाकुनी ने उत्तराखंड विद्यालयी शिक्षा परिषद रामनगर को इस सम्बंध में आदेश दिए हैं। जिसमें कहा गया है कि प्रशासन योजना में स्वीकृत नाम के आधार पर विद्यालय के नाम में आंशिक बदलाव किया जाए। इधर, विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य रामलखन गैरोला ने बताया कि 9 जुलाई 1947 में स्थापित विद्यालय अब तक श्री लक्ष्मण विद्यालय इंटर कालेज के नाम से चल रहा था जिसके नाम में आंशिक संशोधन किया है। अब विद्यालय का नया श्री गुरु राम राय लक्ष्मण इंटर कालेज देहरादून रखा गया है।
