उत्तरकाशी (संवाददाता)। दीपावली के दिन संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में मृत ग्रामीण के परिजन न्याय के लिए दर-दर भटकने को मजबूर हैं। परिवार के इकलौता कमाऊ सदस्य की मौत के बाद उसके बूढ़े पिता और पत्नी समेत पांच नाबालिग बच्चों के भरण पोषण का संकट भी खड़ा हो गया है। परिवार ने डीएम के समक्ष न्याय की गुहार लगाई है। चिन्यालीसौड़ प्रखंड के जोखणी गांव निवासी वीरेंद्र महंत (42) खच्चर चलाकर अपने बूढ़े पिता, पत्नी और पांच नाबालिग बच्चों का भरण-पोषण करता था। बीते 7 नवंबर को वह अपने पैसे लेने पास के गांव गया, लेकिन घर नहीं लौटा। अगले दिन जब परिजनों ने खोजबीन की तो उसका शव गुनाली गदेरे में करीब 50 मीटर नीचे पड़ा मिला। मृतक के पिता कमल सिंह की तहरीर के आधार पर पुलिस ने अज्ञात के खिलाफ हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज किया, लेकिन मामले में अभी तक कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई। शुक्रवार को मृतक का पूरा परिवार न्याय की गुहार लेकर जिला मुख्यालय पहुंचा। यहां उन्होंने डीएम को ज्ञापन सौंपकर अवगत कराया कि पुलिस खाई में गिरने से मौत बता रही है, जबकि इतनी ऊंचाई से गिरने के बाद भी न तो उसके कपड़े फटे और न ही उसके शरीर पर किसी तरह के घाव आए। मृतक के पैरों में चप्पल और सिर पर टोपी भी जस की तस है। उन्होंने हत्या कर उसके शव को वहां रखे जाने का आरोप लगाते हुए मामले की जांच कराकर दोषियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की। मामले में पुलिस को ठोस कार्रवाई के लिए निर्देशित किया जा रहा है, जबकि परिवार की गरीबी की हालत को देखते हुए समाज कल्याण विभाग से मृतक के पिता की वृद्धावस्था एवं पत्नी की विधवा पेंशन के साथ ही बच्चों की छात्रवृत्ति आदि की व्यवस्था करायी जाएगी।
