मुख्यमंत्री ने षडंगी को माइक देने के लिए कहा और उनके साथ खुद भी छत्तीसगढ़ी गीत के लाइनें गायी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि देश में छत्तीसगढ़ मॉडल सफल है। हम आम लोगों को सशक्त बनाने का काम कर रहे हैं। हम वह काम कर रहे हैं, जिससे आम जनता के जेब में पैसा आये और उनकी आय बढ़े। हम लोगों के हाथ में काम दे रहे हैं। इन्हीं सब प्रयासों के फलस्वरूप छत्तीसगढ़ में बेरोजगारी दर न्यूनतम है। हम अपनी प्राचीन संस्कृति के संवर्धन और विकास के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रहे हैं। हमने आकर्षक छत्तीसगढ़ी फिल्म नीति बनाई। स्थानीय कलाकारों को काम मिला। अब यहां के मल्टीप्लेक्स और बड़े सिनेमाघरों में छत्तीसगढ़ी फिल्म दिखाई जा रही है और बड़ी संख्या में देखने भी आ रहे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमने गोधन न्याय योजना की शुरूआत की। छत्तीसगढ़ देश का पहला ऐसा राज्य है, जिसने गोबर खरीदी की। अब गोमूत्र की भी खरीदी करने जा रहे हैं। इससे बड़ा फायदा यह हुआ कि किसानों और पशुपालकों की आय में वृद्धि हुई है। साथ ही सड़क में घूमने वाले मवेशियों पर रोक लगी है। लोग पशुओं को अपने घरों में या गौठानों में बांध कर रखने लगे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हम नक्सल समस्या के समाधान के लिए ठोस प्रयास कर रहे हैं। नक्सली घटनाओं में कमी आ रही है। हमने इसके लिए ‘विश्वास, विकास और सुरक्षा’ की नीति अपनायी।
आदिवासी समाज जल, जंगल जमीन से जुड़ा है। हमने आदिवासी समाज को विश्वास में लेकर काम करना शुरू किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारी सरकार बनते ही हमने सबसे पहले लोहाण्डीगुड़ा के किसानों की जमीन वापसी की। सुरक्षाबलों से कहा कि – जहां कैम्प हैं, वहां आसपास के ग्रामीणों से मिले, उन्हें विश्वास में लेकर कार्य करें। जो कैम्प में सुरक्षाबलों के लिए चिकित्सक हैं, वे आसपास के गांव के निवासियों का इलाज करें। धीरे-धीरे वहां के लोगों का सम्पर्क बढ़ा और उनका विश्वास भी बढ़ा। हमारी सरकार द्वारा व्यक्तिगत और सामुदायिक वनाधिकार पट्टा का वितरण किया जा रहा है। तेंदूपत्ता संग्राहकों के पारिश्रमिक राशि में भी वृद्धि की है। 65 प्रकार के लघु वनोपज की खरीदी की जा रही है इससे आदिवासियों की आय में वृद्धि हो रही है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कोरोना काल में जब पूरे देश में लॉकडाउन के हालात थे, तब हमने गरीबों, श्रमिकों के कल्याण के लिए कार्य किया। उद्योगपतियों से बात कर श्रमिकों को काम दिलाया। छत्तीसगढ़ पहला राज्य था, जिसमें गरीबों को 3 महीने का मुफ्त राशन दिया और राज्य सरकार की योजनाओं से लोगों को रोजगार मिला और उनकी आय बढ़ी। इस अवधि में बड़ी संख्या में छत्तीसगढ़ के निवासियों ने वाहनों की खरीदी की। छत्तीसगढ़ शासन की नवाचारी नीतियों को देश के अन्य राज्य भी अपना रहे हैं। नीति आयोग ने भी छत्तीसगढ़ में संचालित नवाचारी योजनाओं और कार्यक्रमों की तारीफ की है। कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री बघेल को टीवी चैनल के प्रधान संपादक श्री अतुल अग्रवाल ने स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया।
