रायपुर (जनसम्पर्क विभाग)। कमजोर आर्थिक स्थिति में दिव्यांग बच्चे की जिम्मेदारी ने रायपुर के तेलीबांधा निवासी पी. शिवाराव को हताश कर दिया था। ऐसे में सरकारी मदद उनके जीवन में एक नई उम्मीद लेकर आई जब 23 दिसम्बर, गुरूवार को समाज कल्याण मंत्री श्रीमती अनिला भेंड़िया ने उनके 15 वर्षीय बेटे श्री तिरूपति राव को 3 लाख 67 हजार रूपए का श्रवण यंत्र प्रदान किया।
श्री शिवाराव अपने मूकबधिर बेटे तिरूपति के लिए विगत दो वर्षों से श्रवण यंत्र प्राप्त करने का प्रयास कर रहे थे। कान के अंदर लगने वाला या श्रवण यंत्र विशिष्ट प्रकृति का होने के कारण इसकी उपलब्धता राज्य में नहीं थी। जिला चिकित्सालय रायपुर द्वारा यंत्र को दिल्ली से मंगाने अनुशंसा की गई थी, जिससे तिरूपति राव को विशिष्ट श्रवण यंत्र लगाया जा सके। मंत्री श्रीमती अनिला भेड़िया के प्रयासों से समाज कल्याण विभाग द्वारा श्रवण यंत्र मंगवाकर तिरूपति को लगाया गया, जिससे तिरूपति एवं उसके परिजन भावुक हो गये।
श्री शिवाराव ने बताया कि 7 महीने में ही हुए उनके जुड़वा बच्चों में एक ठीक है, लेकिन दूसरा बच्चा तिरूपति जिसे प्यार से तिन्ना कहते हैं बचपन से ही कमजोर है। उसके थोड़ा बड़ा होने पर पता चला कि वह सुन-बोल नहीं सकता। वह ड्राइवर हैं और तिरूपति की मां घरों में साफ-सफाई का काम करती है। ऐसे में कमजोर आर्थिक स्थिति के कारण इलाज पर ज्यादा खर्च करने की हैसियत नहीं थी। ऐसे में सरकारी मदद से मेडिकल कॉलेज हॉस्पिटल से तिरूपति के कान का ऑपरेशन करवाया और स्पीच थैरेपी करवाई।
श्री शिवाराव ने बताया कि बेटा तिरूपति थोड़ा-थोड़ा बोलना सीख ही रहा था कि मशीन ने काम करना बंद कर दिया। पिछले दो सालों में तिरूपति ने थैरेपी से जो सीखा था, वह भी भूलने लगा। ऐसे में मंत्री श्रीमती भेंड़िया की मदद से महंगा श्रवण यंत्र मिला है। इसे देखकर उनकी आंखों में आंसू आ गए। उन्होंने कहा कि पहले बहुत चिंता थी, लेकिन अब तिरूपति के भविष्य के प्रति फिर से उम्मीद जागी है। तिरूपति अब सुन-बोल सकेगा और आगे पढ़ भी सकेगा। जिससे हमारे बात वह आत्मनिर्भर बनकर अपना जीवन जी सकेगा। श्री तिरूपति के परिजनों ने विशिष्ट श्रवण यंत्र निःशुल्क प्रदान करने पर राज्य सरकार और मंत्री श्रीमती भंेड़िया का आभार व्यक्त किया है।
