मुंबई । भारत-चीन के बीच रिश्तों में तनाव का असर अब कोरोना वैक्सीनेशन पर दिख रहा है। ग्लोबल टेंडर जारी करने वाले राज्य चीन की कोरोना वैक्सीन से परहेज करते नजर आ रहे हैं। मुंबई ने भी 1 करोड़ वैक्सीन की डोज के लिए ग्लोबल मार्केट में कदम रखने का फैसला किया है, लेकिन इस फैसले से चीन को बाहर रखा गया है। मुंबई नगर निगम ने बुधवार को मुंबई में वैक्सीन की 1 करोड़ डोज की खरीद के लिए ग्लोबल एक्सप्रेशन ऑफ इंट्रेस्ट जारी किया। ईओआई में शर्त शामिल है कि भारत के साथ जमीनी सीमाओं को साझा करने वाले देशों की कंपनियों की बोलियों पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा। मुंबई नगर निगम के इस फैसले से चीन की कोई भी कंपनी इस प्रक्रिया में हिस्सा नहीं ले पाएगी। हम केंद्र की वर्तमान नीति से अवगत नहीं हैं, लेकिन हमने चीन की कंपनियों को ईओआई में हिस्सा लेने से रोकने के लिए शर्त को टेंडर प्रक्रिया में डालने का फैसला लिया है। चीनी वैक्सीन की गुणवत्ता और अन्य पहलुओं पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। मुंबई के इस ईओआई के मुताबिक कंपनियों को 18 मई तक जवाब देना है। आदेश जारी होने के तीन हफ्ते के भीतर वैक्सीन की सप्लाई करनी होगी।
कंपनी को जरूरी रजिस्ट्रेशन समेत अन्य नियमों को भारत में पूरा करना होगा। इस खरीद के लिए बीएमसी के करीब 400 करोड़ रुपए खर्च होने का अनुमान है। एक अधिकारी के मुताबिक शहर को 1।50 करोड़ वैक्सीन डोज की जरूरत है। नगर आयुक्त आई एस चहल ने कहा कि बीएमसी अगले 60 से 90 दिनों के भीतर मुंबई के लोगों को वैक्सीन लगाने के लिए कोविड की पर्याप्त वैक्सीन हासिल कर लेगी।
बीएमसी ने पहले कहा था कि भारत बायोटेक और सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया (एसआईआई) के साथ ही वो फाइजर, मॉडर्ना, स्पूतनिक और जॉनसन एंड जॉनसन से बोली की उम्मीद करता है। 2022 फरवरी के आखिर में होने वाले नागरिक निकाय चुनावों से पहले बीएमसी को वैक्सीन की व्यवस्था करने की इजाजत देने का सरकार का निर्णय इन चुनावों को संभावित रूप से प्रभावित करेगा। इससे पहले राज्य सरकार ने कहा था कि वह राज्य के सभी निगमों और अन्य नागरिक निकायों को वैक्सीन की सप्लाई करेगी।
