नई दिल्ली । देश के लिए एक अच्छी खबर ये है कि पहली बार पुरुषों की तुलना में महिलाओं की संख्या बढ़ी है। नेशनल फैमिली हेल्थ सर्वे के आंकड़े के मुताबिक देश की कुल आबादी में प्रति एक हजार पुरुषों पर महिलाओं की संख्या 1020 है। 2015-16 के सर्वे में प्रति एक हजार पुरुष पर महिलाओं की संख्या 991 थी। इसके साथ ही देश की कुल प्रजनन दर घटकर करीब 2 रह गई है जो 2016 में 2.2 था। प्रजनन दर घटने का मतलब है कि जनसंख्या लगभग स्थिर हो गई है।
कुल प्रजनन दर (टीएफआर) राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रति महिला बच्चों की औसत संख्या 2.2 से घटकर 2.0 हो गई है। कुल प्रजनन दर चंडीगढ़ में 1.4 है जबकि उत्तर प्रदेश में 2.4 है। मध्य प्रदेश, राजस्थान, झारखंड और उत्तर प्रदेश को छोड़कर सभी राज्यों में प्रजनन क्षमता स्तर 2.1 है। इस सर्वे में यह तथ्य भी सामने आया सेक्स रेशियो में सुधार शहरों की तुलना में गांवों में ज्यादा बेहतर हुआ है। गांवों में हर 1,000 पुरुषों पर 1,037 महिलाएं हैं, जबकि शहरों में 985 महिलाएं हैं।
इस सर्वे में कहा गया है कि बच्चों के जन्म का लिंग अनुपात अभी भी 929 है। यानी अभी भी लोगों के बीच लड़के की चाहत ज्यादा दिख रही है। प्रति हजार नवजातों के जन्म में लड़कियों की संख्या 929 ही है। हालांकि, सख्ती के बाद लिंग का पता करने की कोशिशों में कमी आई है और भ्रूण हत्या में कमी देखी जा रही है।
आपको बता दें कि 1990 के दौरान भारत में प्रति हजार पुरुषों की तुलना में महिलाओं का अनुपात 927 था। 2005-06 में यह आंकड़ा 1000-1000 तक आ गया। हालांकि, 2015-16 में यह घटकर प्रति हजार पुरुषों की तुलना में 991 पहुंच गया था लेकिन इस बार ये आंकड़ा 1000-1,020 तक पहुंच गया है।
