नई दिल्ली। देश के पहले चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ (सीडीएस) जनरल बिपिन रावत के निधन से पूरे देश में शोक है। एयरफोर्स चीफ एयर मार्शल वीआर चौधरी तमिलनाडु के कुन्नूर में हेलिकॉप्टर क्रैश की जगह पर पहुंचे और घटना स्थल का जायजा लिया। जनरल बिपिन रावत और उनकी पत्नी का पार्थिव शरीर आज शाम को तमिलनाडु के वेलिंग्टन से दिल्ली लाया जाएगा। कल दिल्ली कैंट के बराड़ स्क्वायर में उनका अंतिम संस्कार किया जाएगा। जनरल रावत के निधन पर उनके गृह राज्य उत्तराखंड में तीन दिन के राजकीय शोक की घोषणा की गई है। इस बीच रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह आज संसद के जरिए देश को बताएंगे कि ये हादसा कैसे हुआ और अब तक की जांच में क्या निकला है। पीएम मोदी, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह, सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल समेत कई विपक्षी नेताओं ने श्रद्धांजलि दी।
