पौड़ी (संवाददाता)। लोकसभा चुनावों के मद्देनजर पुलिस प्रशासन पूरी तरह सतर्क है। पौड़ी जिले को दो सुपर जोन के साथ ही 32 जोन और 116 सेक्टरों में बांटा गया है। जोनों में पुलिस अधिकारी तैनात कर हो गए है। इसके साथ ही मोबाइल टीमें भी अलग से नजर रखेंगी। गुरुवार को होने जा रहे मतदान के लिए पुलिस ने उत्तर प्रदेश की सीमा से लगे चार अंतर्राज्यीय बैरियरों पर सीसीटीवी लगाने के साथ ही सीआरपीएफ की तैनाती की है। इसके साथ ही जिले में बनाए गए 14 बैरियरों पर चेकिंग को लेकर पूरी सतर्कता बरती जा रही है। पौड़ी के एसएसपी दलीप सिंह कुंवर ने बताया है कि चुनाव के दौरान पुलिस की 53 मोबाइल पार्टियां पोलिंग बूथों का जायजा लेती रहेगी। मोबाइल टीमें वीडियो कैमरों के साथ लैस रहेगी। एसएसपी ने साफ किया है कि चुनाव के दौरान असामाजिक तत्वों पर पूरी नजर रहेगी और किसी को भी शांति व्यवस्था को प्रभावित करने के लिए कानून हाथ में लेने की इजाजत नहीं होगी। यदि इसके बावजूद कोई व्यवस्था में व्यवधान करता है तो सख्ती से निपटा जाएगा और शांति व्यवस्था भंग करने वालों के विरुद्ध राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा अधिनियम व गुंडा एक्ट के तहत कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जाएगी। एसएसपी ने संभ्रात लोगों से भी अपील की है कि सभी निर्भीक होकर अपने मत के अधिकार का प्रयोग करे। यदि कोई चुनाव को प्रभावित करता है तो इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दी जाए।
