हैडफोन के डिब्बे में कोकीन!

नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल जोनल ब्यूरो बेंगलुरु के अधिकारियों ने युगांडा की महिला आयशा मनुटेबी को बेंगलुरु के कैंटोनमेंट रेलवे स्टेशन पर कर्नाटक एक्सप्रेस से गिरफ्तार किया है. उसके पास से एक करोड़ रुपये की कोकीन बरामद की गई है. इस महिला ने कटहल के बीज की तरह दिखने वाले इस मादक पदार्थ को हैडफोन के डिब्बे में छुपाकर रखा था. नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो के क्षेत्रीय निदेशक सुनील कुमार सिन्हा ने बताया कि तकरीबन 200 ग्राम कोकीन को इस महिला ने हैडफोन के डिब्बे में छुपाकर रखा था. कोकीन की स्मगलिंग का जुर्म साबित होने पर 20 साल के सख्त कारावास की सजा का प्रावधान है. पूछताछ में पता चला है कि इस महिला ने ड्रग्स का यह कंसाइनमेंट दिल्ली से लिया था और इसे बेंगलुरु में डिलीवर करना था. इससे पहले यहां हाल ही में ड्रग्स के कंसाइनमेंट पकड़े गए थे. 25 मई को 2 करोड़ रुपये की एफेड्रिन, 29 अप्रैल को एक करोड़ रुपये की कोकीन, 19 अप्रैल को तकरीबन 5000 साइकोट्रॉपिक ड्रग्स टेबलेट्स और कैप्सूल, 29 मार्च को 12 किलो एफेड्रिन ड्रग्स और 18 मार्च को 2.5 किलोग्राम कैटेमिन पकड़ी गई थी.
