सचिव पर्यटन, उत्तराखंड शासन, दिलीप जावलकर द्वारा श्री केदारनाथ धाम के पुनर्विकास कार्यों को गति प्रदान करने की श्रृंखला में नई दिल्ली में नेशनल थर्मल पावर कॉरपोरेशन के एग्जीक्यूटिव डायरेक्टर, सीएसआर, एमएसडी भट्टामिश्रा के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन हस्ताक्षरित किया गया। समझौते के अनुसार एनटीपीसी द्वारा कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी के रूप में ₹25 करोड़ की धनराशि श्री केदारनाथ धाम में विभिन्न पुनर्निर्माण कार्यों एवं यात्री सुविधाओं के विकास हेतु प्रदान की जाएगी। ज्ञातव्य है कि इससे पूर्व सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के अन्य शीर्षस्थ उपक्रमों तथा श्री केदारनाथ धाम चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट के मध्य रुपए 100 करोड़ से अधिक धनराशि के समझौता ज्ञापन हस्ताक्षरित किए जा चुके हैं। समझौता ज्ञापन के अनुसार एनटीपीसी द्वारा श्री केदारनाथ उत्थान चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट में ₹25 करोड़ का योगदान दिया जाएगा। धनराशि का उपयोग मंदाकिनी में आस्था पथ, कतार प्रबधन, तीर्थ यात्रियों के बैठने तथा रेन शेल्टर निर्माण; सरस्वती नदी की ओर वाटर एटीएम निर्माण तथा मंदिर प्लाजा में रेन शेल्टर के निर्माण आदि कार्यों में किया जा सकेगा। केदारनाथ टाउन केेे पुनर्विकास कार्यों के लिए नोडल संस्था केेे रूप में कार्य करने वाले श्री केदारनाथ चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट द्वारा इन सभी कार्यों के लिए यथोचित अधिकरणों से अनिवार्य क्लीयरेंस प्राप्त किया जाना होगा। सचिव पर्यटन ने बताया कि समझौता ज्ञापन के अनुसार एनटीपीसी द्वारा धनराशि का भुगतान श्री केदारनाथ उत्थान चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट को किस्तों में किया जाएगा। ट्रस्ट द्वारा धनराशि का उपयोग उन्हीं कार्यों के लिए किया जाएगा जिनके लिए कि वह निर्गत की जा रही हैं। साथ ही कार्यदाई संस्थाओं के चयन में पूर्ण पारदर्शिता बरती जाएगी और अधिप्राप्ति नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा। सचिव पर्यटन ने बताया कि इससे पूर्व इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन द्वारा 27.96 करोड़, ओएनजीसी द्वारा 26 करोड़, रूरल इलेक्ट्रिफिकेशन कॉरपोरेशन द्वारा 23.52 करोड़ तथा पावर फाइनेंस कॉरपोरेशन द्वारा 25.6 करोड़ की धनराशि कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी के अंतर्गत श्री केदारनाथ उत्थान चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट को दिए जाने के संबंध में समझौता ज्ञापन निष्पादित किए जा चुके हैं। सचिव पर्यटन ने बताया कि इन समझौतों के अंतर्गत किए जाने वाले कार्यों के संबंध में निविदा प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करते हुए कार्यदाई संस्थाओं का चयन कर लिया गया है, जिसके फलस्वरूप शीघ्र ही केदारनाथ टाउन पुनरुद्धार के अंतर्गत अवस्थापना कार्य आरंभ हो जाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार का उद्देश्य अधिकतम सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों की भागीदारी प्राप्त करते हुए राज्य में पर्यटन सुविधाओं का अधिकतम विकास करना है ताकि पर्यटकों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हो सके और स्थानीय लोगों को विविध प्रकार के और अधिक आमदनी वाले रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध हो सके। उन्होंने एनटीपीसी के प्रतिनिधियों का आभार प्रकट करते हुए कहा कि निर्माण कार्यों में पर्यावरण नियमों तथा पारदर्शिता का पूरा ध्यान रखा जाएगा। –सू0वि0
