0-आरबीआई ने की घोषणा
नईदिल्ली । भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने पेमेंट सिस्टम ऑपरेटर्स को नया स्व-अधिकार वाला क्यूआर कोड जारी करने से मना कर दिया है। डिजिटल पेमेंट इंफ्रास्ट्रक्टर में सुधार के लिए आरबीआई यह फैसला लिया है। आरबीआई का कहना है कि स्मार्टफोन्स इस समय देशव्यापी हो गए हैं और ई-पेमेंट्स का आधार क्यूआर बनते जा रहा है।
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) ने गुरुवार को कहा कि सभी पेमेंट ऑपरेटर्स को 31 मार्च 2022 तक अंतर-संचालित च्कि रिस्पॉन्स क्यूआर कोड को अपनाना होगा।
आरबीआई के इस आदेश का मतलब है कि पेमेंट ऑपरेटर्स को एक ऐसे क्यूआर कोड सिस्टम में शिफ्ट करना होगा, जो दूसरे पेमेंट ऑपरेटर्स द्वारा भी स्कैन हो सके। इस प्रोसेस को लागू करने की अंतिम तिथि 31 मार्च 2022 तय की गई है। प्रोफेसर दीपक फाटक की अगुवाई वाली एक कमेटी ने अगले दो साल में अंतर-संचालित क्यूआर कोड्स में बदलाव को लेकर कई सुझाव दिए थे। वर्तमान में, देश में तीन तरह के क्यूआर कोड चलते हैं। ये भारत क्यूआर, यूपीआई क्यूआर और प्रोपराइटरी क्यूआर कोड हैं।
यूपीआई और भारत पहले की तरह ही जारी रहेंगे। केंद्रीय बैंक की तरफ से जारी बयान में कहा गया कि इंटरऑपरेबल क्यूआर कोड्स के बारे में जागरुकता फैलाने के लिए पेमेंट सिस्टम ऑपरेटर्स को पहली करनी होगी। फाटक कमेटी के इस सुझाव से पेमेंट इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर को मजबूत करने में मदद मिलेगी। इंटरऑपरेबिलिटी की वजह से आम लोगों को सहूलियत होगी और पेमेंट सिस्टम भी पहले से बेहतर हो सकेगा।
